We are led by a Board of Directors who are all volunteers and elected by our members to represent them to lead our organisation. Each Director is expected to undertake annual training and education as well as take corporate and personal responsibility for decisions made.
PROFIT FOR PURPOSE
Our Board of Directors are committed to ensuring that all the profit we generate is used to improve services or facilities for our Members and to improve the lives of our members.
This is evident by the significant support to local organisations, and community members through the investment in the ClubGRANTS program across Fairfield, Liverpool, the Northern Beaches and the Central Coast. In addition to this, they also provide support to the community through other means, including donations, sponsorships, community partnerships and events, sports, sub club and social inclusion programs – all aimed at improving the lives of our Members and the local communities.

Continuing to support Members at every stage of their life through the Mounties Care Concierge hotline. This hotline offers a free service to support Members health enquiries, perform welfare checks and assist with information on services available across our home care provision, our medical and allied health services. Our Care Concierge can help you navigate your way through identifying the services available and the best way to find assistance most suited to your own personal needs.
LIVE AND LOCAL ENTERTAINMENT
To help support the crippled entertainment industry after the COVID-19 shutdown, we embarked on the LIVE & LOCAL campaign which focused on our local musicians, those who were local to our community and had been hit hardest by the lockdown. Providing our members with free live entertainment by local artists every Friday and Saturday night.
MOUNTIES CARE HOME CARE
Mounties Group listened to our members and understood that as our membership ages, their needs change. Mounties Care Home Care supports the health, wellbeing and independence of our Members, long after they can no longer attend our Club venues. From companionship to nursing services and all the way to chemotherapy and end of life care, we want to keep or members living in their own homes and as part of our community for longer and in more positive ways.
BREAKERS
AMALGAMATION
Located on 50 beautiful acres of land nestled alongside the beautiful shores of Terrigal Lagoon, Breakers Country Club brings our members a modern comfortable club along with a stunning 9 hole golf course and two lawn bowling greens. Another great addition on the Central Coast for our members to enjoy!
MOUNTIES CARE INTEGRATIVE HEALTH CLINICS
Our new Integrative Health Clinics at Freshwater and Wyoming are just the start to our growth into improving members lives through better health services. With plans for Mt Pritchard and Guilford, Mounties Group are pioneering to ensure no matter what stage of life, our members are well looked after.
MOUNTIES CONTINUE TO AN IMPACT
Mounties Group continues to make a positive impact on local community groups through the ClubGRANTS scheme.
In total, the 2022 ClubGRANTS program across our Club areas saw Mounties Group give back over $4.5 million in total ClubGrants across sport and recreation, medical, health, arts and culture, education and essential community support. We had the privilege of providing over $1.1million to 78 different projects in our most recent round of Category 1 donations in August 2022, as pictured above.
One of the recent beneficiaries to the ClubGrants funding by Mounties was Life Ed NSW/ACT.
The nation’s hardest working giraffe, Healthy Harold, educates young students with practical life lessons delivered in an engaging and captivating way. Using the latest research, the age-specific program empowers children to make healthier choices, covering topics from cyber safety, the human body and emotional wellbeing to personal safety and drugs and alcohol. “Positive lifestyle choices contribute to the improved wellbeing of young people and have a progressive flow-on impact on families and communities. Life Ed’s program equips students with the ability to make positive choices and the skills to overcome challenges that impact happiness and long-term life trajectory,” said Jonathon Peatfield, Chief Executive Officer of Life Ed NSW/ACT.
While Life Ed already visits 22 schools and 9,900 children annually in the Liverpool LGA, this project targets the children that are missing out. Mounties, as part of the ClubGRANTS scheme, has stepped in with an $18,000 grant that will enable 50 subsidised sessions for approximately 1,250 children.
“Mental wellbeing education is more essential than ever as young people adapt and recover after COVID-19,” added Mr Peatfield.
For the first of these sessions, Life Ed is heading to local school’s Busby Public School and Busby West Public School in October and November and is looking forward to getting back into schools to delivery its new innovative education program.
“The pandemic has presented ongoing challenges for communities, schools and our organisation. There are heightened levels of distress for students, families and teachers, which we account for in our health education – particularly mental
health content,” he continued.
“In addition, social restrictions and lockdowns have impeded access to schools which has in turn inspired us to innovate with real-time virtual delivery and on-demand content.
Life Ed Educators now pre-visit schools engaging teachers to select modules aligning with their curriculum and student needs. In addition, Life Education has adapted its program to now enable children, teachers and parents to receive web resources and online accessible information to facilitate post-session learning to reinforce and extend the concepts covered.
ClubGRANTS is just one of the many ways Mounties Group is proactive in providing support, services and facilities for the betterment of our local community. Mounties Group’s Western Clubs are thrilled to support Life Ed and them many other local causes via the 2022 ClubGRANTS scheme.
Mounties Group is so much more than our venues. We are a community, in a time when community is in rare supply.
