If you plan to study in Canada for more than six months, you need a study permit from the Government of Canada. Apply for a study permit as soon as you receive your offer of admission from Mount Royal.

WORK AND STUDY
Many programs have a work placement component so you can gain valuable Canadian work experience in your area of study. Full-time students with a valid study permit are automatically approved to work on- or off-campus for up to 20 hours per week while attending school and full-time during scheduled breaks. cic.gc.ca
