Where the rivers meet Mount Royal University is located in Calgary, Alberta, the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of the Treaty 7 region in southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut'ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda. We are situated on land where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. The traditional Blackfoot name of this place is “Mohkinstsis,” which we now call the city of Calgary, also home to the Métis Nation. Students from around the world call Calgary home. Its sunny days, warm summers and mild winters make exploring the city and nearby Rocky Mountains enjoyable in any season. Full-time students can take advantage of the U-Pass, which provides unlimited access to Calgary Transit services.
Mount Royal's campus offers a small town atmosphere paired with big city services and resources so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
