The project is located next to the main metro station of attaba . Its concept was inspired from the movement of the alley of the metro station and the circulation of the people movement through it.It is a complex between modern structure and old fashioned functionality.






3D MODELING Rhinoceros TRADITIONAL AND FUTURISTIC MODELING

The project main aim was to learn 3d modeling on rhinoceros program and the v-ray rendering tool.The project was about being inspired from a futuristic sen from a movie and try to imitate it but in our own way with different view and touch.

The project is located at Qalyoub farming area where the farmers land will be used for the sake of the villagers. A hybrid school project was introduced by me as a solution for the the area that existed as the strip of damp water.The school acted as the spine of the area and the connector between the two sides of the area.It was functioned as primary school in the morning and a workshop for the villagers to practice their handcrafts and other jobs at night.

A ramp that provides the movement from and to the telefric tower giving it also a new view for the people to the sea side of the city and the other hand the down town part of the city. The ramp is a huge aquarium with a tunnel in it where people could move and go through it and live the sensation of Barcelona sea and water creatures , it also acts as a new touristic destination to the people.

The school is the support and backdrop of the daily life of children and teachers, learning and play.Escola Els Quatre Vents is located in canovelles city , the city is semi villaged , which means alot of green areas and farms.so the suitable addition to the school in a way that makes it integrate and praise from it origin was a green house. Our proposed green house is simple structural steel light system project,were it could be fixed and removed so easily and fast.We insisted of having the idea of modularity in the structure and the system so it could be installed in any place and many place as much as possible.The most important point that it could be fixed manually by the buyer himself, in our case are the teaching staff or un professional school worker could fix and install it as it depends on fixing parts into each other repeatedly which is possible and easy and doesn't need professional person and doesnt take alot of time or energy.The body is of light steel structures, the upper part and the two sides are closed with polycarbonated clear sheets which are durable enough and could be easily replaced at any time by the teaching staff or the students themselves.

My thesis topic is ground architecture were here i discuss ground not just as an element of earth but as a typology of architecture filed.Ground architecture have many sub categories under it and the two most important that i have mentioned in my thesis are Raised ground and Continuous ground. these two typologies integrated with accessibility of roof created the purest form of ground architecture. A project which i named the wave that was inspired by the sea waves of Barcelona in-the form and by applying ground architecture through functions and spaces was introduced as a process of reviving and restoring Ground Architecture


Raising and Continuity of ground. Raising and continuity of ground are two typologies that completes each other. Although each typology of them has its own characteristics and function and serve in different way but when putting them together they create the perfect understanding of grounding architecture the ultimate use of the ground or a location without really taking it from its surrounding or atmosphere. Starting with the raising of the ground , this typology is commonly used in architecture as it one of the most easiest to apply. By lifting the ground like a piece of paper this results in an spatial area and space with new quality between the underground and above the ground that gives a chance for new opportunity and new utility of the space. One of the advantages is that the ground which is used by the building is given back to the surrounding in the form of raised ground. This typology also has another advantage which its roof starts to act as a new zero level but which is elevated ,this function gives variety of usage and functionality. In this way the building hides its mass in the high elevated and extruded ground , like a highland platform that looks like at territory. A case study showing the Raised ground typology.

As for the other type which is continuous ground , this type is about continuity of the ground and not getting disturbed by the mass that has been built through it. Continuity of the ground and the landscape gives an important feeling of adaptation of the surrounding,in another way it is about the regularity of the form and the space the non ending circulation through a mass wether above it or through it. Continuity of the ground comes in many ways , as it could be continuity of the form it self or continuity of the landscape over the building or continuity of a speciďŹ c element through the whole project.
