PLAYER INTERVIEW WHAT MAKES YOU WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE?
WHY SHOULD A COACH CHOOSE YOU INSTEAD OF ANOTHER?
I would like to go to college to develop into a professional tennis player while obtaining education and completing a degree. I understand USA College representation means being part of a team, which is very exciting for me. My ultimate goal is to go on a professional tour after college.
I am extremely motivated to work hard and develop my game together with a team. I want to be the best possible and I truly believe that the US is the place to be in order to turn professional. Tennis is also my whole life, therefore, I am willing to do everything I can to develop my game while helping the team.
WHAT ARE YOUR TENNIS STRENGTHS? I have a solid tennis game with the following strengths: my first serve is strong, which allows me to dictate the point. I also have a quality backhand shot down the line that surprises my opponents. It’s a very solid shot in the cross court rallies as well. My net game is also very solid. Finally, I have a complete game with no technical weaknesses, witch gives me a lot of variations in my game.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT YOURSELF THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE? I believe that I am a sociable person who gets along with everyone. Even when I represented myAustralian team, I received a Ken Roswell Medal as the best and fairest player of the competition. Ken personally gave me the medal and I was the only one out of 350 players to get it. It was such an honor to receive his medal from him who also sent me a personal letter to congratulate me. I also look forward to experiencing USA College as there are many of my peers who are there and highly recommend the experience. I believe it would give me a great experience and balance between sport and education, while enjoying the team spirit in college and achieving great results for my team.
