Unfortunately, the UK is currently in the middle of a major dog welfare crisis, more and more dogs are being abandoned or handed into rescue centres. The rise in the amount of ‘puppy farms’, the cost of living and more people returning to work after the pandemic are just some of the reasons for this worrying upsurge.
With so many dogs in need, the existing rescue and rehoming centres are also suffering, with reports of some having to close or turn away dogs - not something we would ever want.
Muthapuppa decided to do something about it and pledge to open the first of many rescue centres to help ease the strain on existing charities and ensure more pups are rehomed in the loving family they deserve.
They also pledge to support the following in 2022 by donating 1% of profits to the Blue Cross, All Dogs Matter and Battersea Dogs Home, all via Work for Good.
