SCHOOL OF ART & DESIGN SCHOOL OF MEDIA

SCHOOL OF COMPUTING & TECHNOLOGY

INTRODUCTION The creative world is changing. As individuals we have potential to write, curate, to create a brand. We not only make the work, we’re expected to market it too. As a creative community with great heritage, the Schools of Art and Design, Media and Computing are preparing students for this new landscape through the provision of education, knowledge and choices. Arrive here and the first thing we’ll ask you is, what do you want to do when you leave? We’re opening up an entire world that takes you on a journey, whether this is towards further study or working in a national or international sphere. What are our strengths? Our staff and our students. We employ dynamic,

inspirational teaching staff; cuttingedge thinkers who are pushing the boundaries and working in some of the most exciting areas of the cultural spectrum. We treat you as artists and designers from day one. Throughout your time here you will read, research, make, think and create. You’ll be travelling, looking, inspired in London, Paris, Berlin, Beijing… You’ll be empowered, challenged, developed. You’ll discover your voice. Everyone wants to employ people who can think. Our students are taught how to do this, but also to think differently, and we will give you the confidence to bring all this talent out into the world.
