While the film’s ruthless producer manoeuvres to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying –with limited success – to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. Riley, now thirteen, faces the ups and downs of puberty as
well as school pressure, evolving relationships, possible first love, and other huge changes on the outside that have a drastic impact on things inside.

However, tyrant bonobo leader Proximus only wants more oppression, even turning on his own kind and experimenting on captured humans in a chilling reversal of our animal testing reality and the distressing scenes that started this film series.
Wes Ball, director of The Maze Runner trilogy, reignites the franchise with a bold new vision that stands
alone from the recent film trio, yet remains connected to it and furthers its legacy. Return to the Fury Road in an anarchic prequel where Anya Taylor-Joy buckles up for a wild ride that reveals the origins of the wasteland’s most badass warrior.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Director George Miller / Starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne, Tom Burke / Genre Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi, Thriller
Mad Max: Fury Road remains one of the most celebrated action movies of the twenty-first century, lauded for its incredible stunts, practical effects, gorgeous visuals, and pulse-pounding soundtrack. Acclaimed filmmaker George Miller returns to this postapocalyptic wasteland of his own creation once again – this time in a prequel set years before the events of Fury Road. Winding the clock back means introducing a new cast, new characters, and new, unexplored corners of a world rife with madness.
Anya Taylor-Joy is in the driver’s seat this time, stepping into the titular role immortalised by Charlize Theron.
Furiosa’s journey begins when she’s snatched away from the idyllic Green Place and forced into the clutches of Chris Hemsworth’s Warlord Dementus, who chews the gritty scenery in a role with all the charm and look of Thor, but with heroism swapped for gleeful villainy.
Furiosa’s odyssey to get back to her family takes place across fifteen years and is stacked full of vehicular mayhem and explosions galore.
Although a prequel, Furiosa promises to deliver our best look at the Mad Max universe yet, ironically in the absence of the iconic antihero, though he’s definitely somewhere in the expansive background. This Mad Max Saga is sure to light up cinemas just as much as its predecessor as it goes full throttle in delivering more chaotic, genre-defining action.
Tales From The Waste

A direct sequel to Danny Boyle’s breakout “zombie” masterpiece moves the timeline on to show the destitution on UK shores as a result of rampant infection. The battle against the Rage Virus will continue in 28 Years Later.

The Bikeriders
IN CINEMAS 21 JUNE
Director Jeff Nichols / Starring Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy / Genre Crime, Drama, Thriller
The sixties was the golden age for motorcycle riders, making it the perfect backdrop for this furious tale. Headstrong Kathy recounts her time as a member of the Vandals and the reckless evolution of the club. Amongst this grease-covered crew, she meets her husband, Benny, a rebellious rider who lives for the rumbling of bikes and the respect of their unfaltering leader, Johnny.
Kathy wrestles to tame Benny’s wild nature as she watches him get sucked into a more sinister and
dangerous side of Johnny’s gang. Jeff Nichols’ ode to the sixties subculture of bikeriders takes a turn from Easy Rider to Goodfellas, leaving the characters at a crossroads as they make choices about their loyalty to the Vandals.
Expect an acting masterclass all round as Jodie Comer’s Kathy tells the tale in a flawless Midwestern accent. Austin Butler swaps his blue suede shoes for bike leathers for a smouldering performance reminiscent of James Dean, while Tom Hardy has the air of a Marlon Brando, leading this revved-up pack as Johnny. We can’t wait for this trio to don their leathers and speed into view.
The Great Escape
It doesn’t get much more iconic than Steve McQueen attempting to evade Nazi capture by launching a bike into a sixty-foot jump. Although he gets snagged on barbed wire, it remains one of the coolest motorbike scenes in cinema history.
Easy Rider
Arguably the ultimate motorbike film. Peter Fonda’s Wyatt and Dennis Hoppers’ Billy set the pace for making motorbike culture cool as they ride across America. These freewheeling bad boys became icons of nonconformity.
Mission: Impossible
In classic Tom Cruise fashion, Ethan Hunt keeps his cool while riding his bike at pulse- racing speeds into oncoming traffic. No stranger to motorbike chases or stunts, he wields the roaring engine to get out of the trickiest spots.
