Explore warm and cool colors, negative painting, lifting techniques and brushwork while creating vibrant watercolor paintings in a variety of subjects. Instructors are there to support you throughout your work and provide demonstrations in each two-hour session. Cheese And Crackers Charcuterie Class

The owner of Sara’s Boxes and Boards will guide participants in creating a salami rose and arranging cheese on a walnut board in this 90-minute class. The instructor will make a board that those who attend can snack on, so attendees may take their filled charcuterie board home to enjoy with family and friends. Charcuterie board and food is included. (Min 4/Max 20)

Pot a plant in your favorite pot in this two-hour class! Choose from Ms. Folia’s selection of plants and pots to create a unique gift for yourself or someone you love! Choose your top three favorite plants from our selection and Ms. Folia will bring at least one of them to this down-to-earth experience!

Each registration comes with a plant and pot of your choice, care card, soil, decorations and a name tag for your plant. Instructions on how to plant and repot your plants and pick the right soil will be provided in addition to other general plant knowledge. (Min 5/Max 15)

DANCAKES PANCAKE ART CLASS

Learn to make fun, colorful and edible designs with the best pancake artists in the world. Artist or not, anyone can do this two-hour class. Are you ready to start your pancake art journey? (Min 20/Max 25)

DROP-IN CHAT AND CRAFT

Ages: 10+

Bring your own project and supplies and meet other crafters in this drop-in session. You may work in any medium you can carry in. The facility may have basic supplies to borrow (scissors, pencils, etc.) but availability is not guaranteed. Sessions are hosted by Elizabeth Bell, a lifelong crafter experienced in yarn arts, sewing and painting. This $5 class will be offered the first and third Thursday of each month from 6-8P. No class on AUG 17. (Min 4/Max 16)

Processes of Clay

In this series, we will explore all the processes of clay including pinch, coil, slab and wheel. Students will decorate their clay projects using textures, stamps and add details while learning about underglaze and glazes. The possibilities are endless! No class on JUL 3.

Functional Ceramics

Learn and practice basic wheel throwing techniques of functional ceramics in this course. Instruction includes creating and finishing wheel-thrown pieces, handbuilding, decorating surfaces and glazing. DAY

VOLUNTEER STREAM TEAM MONITORING TRAINING*

In this training, the City of Wentzville, in partnership with Stream Team and Greenway Network, will teach community members how to get involved, get outside and monitor our stream water. This is great activity for individuals, scouts, teachers and their students, local organizations, businesses, families and more.
