This high-intensity strength and conditioning class is for the person looking for a challenge. This class uses functional training to achieve overall physical fitness. A wide variety of equipment may be used: weights, dumbbells, Bosu balls, etc. (Min 7/Max 25)

Youth Classes

Youth Boot Camp

WREC Ages: 5-15

Youth Boot Camp provides a great 40-minute workout while teaching kids how to stay active and healthy! The class is geared around fun intervals which includes the use of various equipment. For children younger than age 7, parents must remain in the class. (Min 1/Max 25)

Youth Stretching

WREC Ages: 5-15

Children stretch and strengthen their bodies through yoga postures and motor activities, build social skills and learn basic breathing techniques in this 40-minute class. (Min 1/Max 25)

Unless otherwise noted, each fitness session lasts 55 minutes.

Check out this indoor cycling class set to exciting music tracks and choreographed to provide an excellent workout and improve cardiovascular conditioning. (Min 7/Max 19)

SUNRISE CYCLE

Sunrise Cycle is designed to burn calories and obliterate fat to energetic and upbeat music! This class is a great cardio workout! (Min 1/Max 19)

Sprint Cycle

This 30-minute, high-intensity interval training class uses short bursts of energy to push your limits, increase your heart rate and burn more calories, propelling you toward your fitness goals. (Min 1/Max 19)

PERSONAL TRAINING

Ages: 12+*

You get so much more than a great workout when training with a Personal Trainer. You get personalized attention to your fitness goals with a customized training plan, guidance on proper form and technique, support, answers to fitness questions and a motivating coach. Each session will take into consideration where you are at on the day of training, whether that is scaling back or ramping up. It’s time to overcome those plateaus and enhance your overall health and quality of life. Start reaching your goals today! All sessions are 60 minutes in length.

YOUTH WEIGHT ROOM ORIENTATION

Ages 12+

Gym/Fitness attendants are available by appointment to show you how all the strength and cardio machines can be used and adjusted. Orientation includes weight room etiquette and guidance on using selectorized machinery and cardio equipment. Price is $35 for residents and $40 for nonresidents.

*A one-time Weight Room Orientation is required for anyone between the ages of 12-15 who wish to use the Wellness Hub.

INBODY ASSESSMENT

Ages 12+

The InBody test provides a quick and accurate body composition analysis that provides a detailed breakdown of your weight in terms of muscle, fat and water. A printout of your results will be given and interpreted for your understanding. Appointments are required and will be with a Certified Personal Trainer. Price is $25 for both residents and nonresidents.
