In this catalogue you can find a range of products from shoes that you can wear throughout the year to highly insulated winter boots for cold weather. There are boots and shoes suitable for you and your kids for every weather condition. A common feature of all our boots and shoes is high quality products which are technically excellent. For us it is important that our products last a long time and this is the most effective sustainability argument. It is important to think about sustainability throughout the life of a boot or shoe and not just during the production process. We have a strong after sales business where we can resole your boots and undertake repairs. This prolongs the life of your boots and shoes and is good for the enviromment.

More Comfort – in every Season Huge demands are made of our feet every day. This is why it is all the more important to rely on styles that fit you well when selecting boots. The special Comfort fit® last shape allows more space in the toes and ball of the foot but it still has a secure heel fit. The broader foot and additional space provide optimal comfort. This is supported by the elaborately constructed Comfort fit® cork footbed. What makes it special is that the cork footbed is anatomically shaped. The cover can absorb a great deal of moisture, and the footbed has continuous cushioning and an integrated shock-absorber in the heel.

Specialists for every terrain You can use our winter boots for every type of use, we have styles that are suitable for a long snow shoeing route, a winter hiking tour or for a hunting trip in a snow covered winter landscape. They are all equipped with a warm lining which provides insulation from the cold and keeps your feet dry and warm. In a number of models we use a special winter rubber mixture which offers good grip on snow and ice. On the Montafon GTX sole, which you can see below, the grip on snow is increased by the pyramid structure of the sole profile.

Travel - from city sightseeing to country hikes For sightseeing, travelling or just walking to the shops. Our travel shoes look cool, are comfortable to wear, offer great cushioning and are also sturdy which makes them suitable for a range of different activities. The mounted assembly makes the shoes very stable and the distinct rubber grip sole gives you excellent hold on all kinds of surfaces. To protect the environment and to use all resources in the best way, we have developed a new rubber mixture for our soles, where we use 22% recycled rubber. We use rubber offcuts from our production. Therefore we can reduce raw material usage and reduce transport. The rubber has been designed to keep the well known Meindl quality level of abrasion and grip.

Comfort fit ® The Comfort fit concept offers more space in the forefoot and has good grip at the heel. In the new Comfort fit model Abano GTX we combine Comfort fit with the Boa® Fit system: the lacing system is quick and easy to use and the tension can be adjusted. The pressure is distributed evenly over the fore foot and this improves the heel fit and gives an even better overall fit. The Boa® Fit system in combination with the stiffer heel cup, the cushioning sole construction and the airy 3D Mesh makes the new Abano GTX a sporty and comfortable shoe for all activities.

Comfort fit® concept

This system consists of three parts: an easy to use closure system, light and extremely strong laces and a friction free lacing system. Each element improves the fit and they are lightweight, robust and weather resistant.

In comparison to a trekking last, our Comfort fit® last has more space at the front of the foot with a firm grip on the heel. You stand on a wider base. The more defined contour enables easier rollover when walking.

For every adventure Children want to play, romp around and have fun outdoors in every season of the year. Robust, flexible and multifunctional: our colourful styles are exactly what small explorers need for their adventures! Many of our models - from the light ankle boots to stable children’s trekking models - are equipped with GORE-TEX. So that the shoes and boots really fit, our children’s styles are equipped with the proven Meindl Best-Fit system. The footbeds can be removed and are marked, which makes it easier for parents to quickly find the right size.
