MOYTOY some days ago came back from Berlin where took part in PICTOPIA ( www.pictoplasma.com ). Yes, that was great and awesome! So now from the beginning. MOYTOY always had a dream to take part in this festival. And the dream came true. The exhibition „Phobia“ was a part of Character Walk, which belonged to PICTOPIA festival. Character Walk – 30 exhibitions of great ideas, artists (more details about every of it later). Now we want to say huge/ fat THANK YOU for artists who took part in „Phobia“ exhibition. For those who do not know anythink about it, we can tell in short that there was an idea to present characters who are suffering or enjoying their phobias. It was suggested for MOYTOY artists community to ask their characters what are they afraid of. We got nice illustrations, toys, video, sculptures, interesting interpretations from artists who live in Lithuania, Latvia, USA, Portugal, Mexico, Taiwan, Ukraina, Russia ... For some days characters lived in Berlin ( 04.17 – 04.22 ) at Talka ( http://www.myspace.com/talkaberlin ). That's a nice boutique which is run by great guys from Riga and from now you can also find MOYTOY creatures there. Let's return to exhibition. MOYTOY is sure that it was a challenge to find out characters' phobias and for characters to be „naked“ in front of everyone with their fears. We must thank them! Now we can have a look to characters and support them smiling.

Can you imagine being afraid of eyes? Yes, that's what happened to this character. If you wanna look to his eyes, you will see yours and maybe you will find out something more about yourself. As somebody told, eyes – mirror of your soul.

It wasn’t our plan, but we did a little phobia research and our results are .... The most frequent phobias among artist are fears of colours, rain, snow and eyes. Research is still going on so you are welcome to send us more phobias We are go make bigger exhibition in Lithuania. So take a look in phobia list and maybe you will find something strange.
