Academics For rising Grade 2 - Grade 5
The Accelerated Program is designed to provide enriching experiences to enhance the creative application of already well-developed skills in the language arts or mathematics. These courses are project-based with an emphasis on higher order thinking and “making connections.” Three sessions of Accelerated Programs are offered for Reading/Language Arts and Mathematics. Classes for either Reading/Language Arts or Mathematics meet for 1-1/4 hours each morning. The program is scheduled so students can study both language arts and mathematics in any or all sessions.
DATES/FEES: For Academics Grades 2-5 u SESSION 1 June 27 – July 8 (No camp on July 4) $225.00 per session u SESSION 2 July 11 – July 22 $250.00 per session u SESSION 3 July 25 – July 29 $125.00 per session
Parents are encouraged to register their child for more than one session. Different themes are utilized to present similar concepts and principles in each session, offering a progression of skills for retention. While incorporating “hands-on” projects, the major goal is to make learning both fun and effective. A comprehensive report is mailed home at the end of each week. Stay and enjoy the whole day at MPH. Students may combine academic courses with Summer Place. Call the Summer Programs Office to customize a day that best fits your family’s schedule. MPH is known for its academic rigor. Take advantage of our Accelerated Academic programs to give your child a jump start for next academic year!

You may always call the Summer Programs office at 446-2452.
The MPH Summerstock program is designed for students with an interest in theater, both onstage and behind the scenes. This twoweek program provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain exposure to the entire process of theatrical production — from acting, movement, and voice to theater terminology, costumes, and makeup. A special component of MPH’s Summerstock, will address technical theater, stage management, lighting, sound, and set design for those who prefer to work in that area.
If you’d like to come in and meet with us for more information, our offices are located on the 2nd floor of the Knox Farmhouse.
The instructors work to create a collaborative immersion experience, and at the close of these two weeks, you will star or work as backstage crew in a “Broadway Style” musical production. Our professional Summerstock staff will WOW you!
