Welcome
Welcome to Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Rockstar!
Our Marin Primary & Middle School community gathers together for this special event, our Annual Spring Fundraiser, to celebrate our school and to raise crucial funds to continue advancing our distinctive mission. I’m grateful for the benefactors who have underwritten several aspects of this event, so that every dollar raised tonight goes directly to our school.
Our event is the result of our community’s generosity of time and philanthropy. From the donations of auction items to the raising of your paddles, every contribution goes a long way in sustaining our mission and programs. Every student and teacher will benefit directly from tonight.
Special thanks to the Parents Association, our many parent and guardian volunteers, and the Development team. I want to shine bright stage lights on Auction Committee Co-Chairs, Kasi Campbell, Kim Hansen, Elyse Omernick, and Mikaela Palmerton, for their tireless efforts that have made this night possible. We are in your debt!
I hope to see everyone on the dance floor. Rock on!
Sincerely,
Phil Gutierrez Head of School
OUR MISSION
We inspire joyful learning, honor each child, and build connections to empower all students to make a difference.
OUR Belief
At Marin Primary & Middle School, we believe that it’s deep connections–between students, with teachers, and with ideas–that help kids know themselves and push through boundaries in school and in life. Every day, we strengthen these connections so our students are able to tackle new ideas and challenges, pursue their goals with optimism and courage, and apply all they learn to the world they’ll inherit.

tuition AssistAnce fund Fund a Need
Our core values at Marin Primary & Middle School are rooted in the importance of developing character through courage, inspiring curiosity, and fostering a connected community. The MP&MS learning journey amplifies each child’s inherent strengths, helping them to build the intellectual skills, social awareness, and emotional courage that will serve them throughout their lives.
As we work to prepare our students for success in school and in life, we strive to model the spectrum of socio-economic diversity beyond our campus. In keeping with the school’s mission and values, gifts to this fund are the foundation of permanently restricted dollars for tuition assistance. Our commitment to a vibrantly diverse student body is at the center of this initiative, paving the way for greater access to students with financial need now and into the future.
The Fund a Need, celebrated tonight with the paddle raise, allows us to dream big. Not only will it enrich our school community, but it will demonstrate our commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging. We are proud to be renewing our commitment to share our outstanding school with students who could not otherwise afford to attend.
Every year, all proceeds generated from the Fund a Need at our auction go to this fund. We hope that you and other families will choose to raise your paddle to help. Your donated dollars are 100% tax deductible as charitable gifts.
Please join us by raising your paddle!

Auction Protocol
All sales are final and no exchanges or refunds are possible. Many items have specific conditions such as time limits, availability, etc. The buyer is responsible for being aware of exclusions, time limits, requirements, etc. stated on gift certificates or in item descriptions.
CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE:
Please enjoy tonight's events knowing we will not conduct check-out this evening. All receipts, merchandise and gift certificates will be available for pick-up at MP&MS after 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
LIVE AUCTION PROTOCOL
All bidders must have a bid number. To enter a bid, the bidder should hold their bid card up until acknowledged by the auctioneer. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. An acknowledged bid constitutes a binding commitment by the bidder to buy the item. In the event of a dispute between bidders, MP&MS shall have sole and final discretion, either to determine the successful bidder, or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. When an item specifies multiple users or recipients, bidders are deemed to be bidding for one recipient only unless otherwise stated and acknowledged by the auctioneer. Thus, for these items, multiple bidders with equal bid amounts are recognized at one time.
CONSORTIA
Many live items lend themselves to group bidding known as consortia. This type of bidding allows one person to bid on behalf of a group. A consortium should be formed prior to the event, and a maximum bid amount should be decided before the start of the auction. The authorized bidder for the group bids with his or her number and is recorded as the winner if their bid is the highest. The authorized consortium bidder is responsible for the full payment of the item(s) the evening of the auction.

Marin Primary & Middle School does not appraise or estimate the fair market value of auction items and donors have furnished all statements of value appearing in the catalog. MP&MS reprints the above information to exercise its responsibility to fully inform its supporters of the applicable tax law, but is not responsible for the tax consequences of these transactions. Please consult your tax advisor regarding any applicable laws.
SALE OF FINE PRINTS
California law (Civil Code Title 1.2, Sale of Fine Prints) provides for the written disclosure of certain information concerning fine prints, photographs, and sculptures before selling such items.
