Only about 6 weeks left! I feel like time has really flown bye. We are rapidly approaching the end of the year and the end of Middle School for our students. I encourage students and parents to discuss summer plans and try to make time for quality family learning experiences. I have heard that some students will be attending KAS’s summer writing program, others will be attending various camps or travelling with family. There are some many great travel destinations here in Taiwan and broader Asia. I am planning to travel a bunch this summer J. Speaking of travelling, as you know the 8th graders attended a Science Field Trip on April 13th-14th. We had a very nice time. Students were well behaved and they had a lot of fun. SCI-8 Update: Solar Car Project on tap next The 8th graders will be working in groups to design and create a solar car in which they will race against their classmates on the KAS track. Students will have to use the same photovoltaic cell and electric motor but otherwise will be allowed to design their vehicles in any way they prefer. I am excited to observe and guide the design and creation process and I also look forward to guiding the students when we analyze the performance of their vehicles on race day.
