Captured four gold medals at a single Olympiad Owens was nicknamed the “Buckeye Bullet.” In college Owens set three world records and tied a fourth within the span of 45 minutes.
Jesse Owens should be inducted in the John L. Costley Black History Month Hall of Fame. He accomplished a lot. He ran 100-yard dashes and 200-yard dashes. He also was the National Interscholastic Champion. He associated Press Athlete of the Year. That is why I believe Jesse Owens should be in the John L. Costley Black History Month Hall of Fame.
