A NOTE FROM RPI PROMOTIONS
Keep the wheels turning. In the confusing times we are in, we must keep the wheels turning and moving forward in the plan and goals we have mapped out. I am an owner of a family media company that has been in the business for over 55 years. It is one that has worked well in a rural community that is supported by ranchers, farmers, and agricultural based businesses, and retail businesses, and we all need each other. We cannot let today’s national media take over our daily plans to work, raise our families and live a life that we can enjoy. The need to move forward with a plan to raise the best beef we can produce is paramount. Our area has the best beef producers in the world, and they are not quitters. Our company deals with hundreds of hard working families both on the registered and commercial sides of raising cattle. We cannot let these unsettling times mess with how we market our cattle. The female and bull sales that we have had this season have been well attended and prices paid for the cattle are very good. The demand for quality seedstock is evident. Right now my life centers around high school sports and activities of my grandchildren and promoting bull sales. From taking pictures of cattle, sketching out an advertising plan, producing the sale catalogs in our printing company, and attending the sales, we seem to be busy. We have attended as many activities as we can. Most of our world is being smart and careful, but NOT shutting down business, progress, and activities. The use of commonsense needs to come into play. The customers and readers that we have in South Dakota and surrounding states, need to have business flow, whether they are selling or buying. In this issue of the Cattlemen’s Invite, you will find a number of programs who will present their best product and have not shut down their business due to unsettling times. I invite you to study their offering and give them a call with any questions. We will be traveling the country attending sales and looking at cattle. If we can be of help in finding what you are looking for, give us a call. Thanks again for your support, trust and friendship.
