CARL THORNTON You fell in love with music and discovered your talents in a school chorus. What was the best advice given by your teacher? To be organic and tell a story.
too shall pass», so I picked up the pieces to my broken heart metaphorically speaking, pulled myself together and kept it moving. That’s how this song was realized through that painful experience.
Other than your beautiful voice, what do you bring to the table? I try to bring a joyous, uplifting and truthfulness to my music. I breath and live each and every moment so that I can take my listeners on a journey with me.
Singer, songwritter, actor and dancer... Is it hard to wear several hats and stay good enough in each field? It is indeed. The acting/singing comes naturally to me, but the dancing I definitely have to work hard at it! My choreographer had such patience with me! LOL
When we listen to your music, we feel that old school lovely touch in your sounds. Are you nostalgic about the 90s R&B genre? Yes to some degree I am nostalgic. 90s RnB had some of the most incredible groups ever. Jodeci, TLC, BoyzIIMen, Blackstreet, just to name a few. Absolutely amazing music, how could one not be nostalgic. You recently released a visual for the song «I Remember». Can you tell us more about the concept behind the song and the video? How long have you been dancing? The concept for the video «I Remember» is very personal. I like to walk in truth and be real, so I’ll be candid. After being in a relationship for several years, it ended via text message. To say I was «devastated» is an understatement. I felt gutted, but I told myself «this
What are your project for this summer 2016? My mini-EP «Destined» is being released in July. I also worked on a project with Frisco Taibo Cruz, a DJ from Spain, that’s being released in June. Can we expect new videos? Yes most definitely. I will be doing other music videos, I love expressing myself on film. Do you fully live from music now? I do work as a performer full time and feel truly grateful to be able to. Follow on Twitter @carl_t_music

Women & Hip Hop In 2013... What is your opinion ? Is the hip hop industry still sexist? Every industry still has sexism – either for or against males or females Is there too much violence in Hip Hop nowadays? I don’t think there is more violence in Rap than what is in Society. Artists seem to be moving in a direction away from that.

KARIAN SANG My favorite genre? I’d choose Dancehall because I love my roots, and it’s so alive. From Jamaica to Canada, you have traveled a lot so far. What is the main cultural differences between those two areas? The culture was very different down to its lifestyle. Jamaica is a more cool & fun but a third world country. We wear uniforms, pray in school, and our food has more flavors. We also have beautiful beaches & MADD parties. You can always hear music playing in Jamaica. Canada is a nice more expensive & clean place. We have no religions in schools or get spanked, there’s high rises and fancy malls all over, it has free medical, it’s a great place for kids, lots of fast food, peaceful, and has beautiful Lakes. Do you miss your roots or do you have the chance to go back to Jamaica regularly? I miss home all the time. I visit as often as I can, because “it’s my paradise”. How did you choose your stage name? I used be called Lil Precious, but I changed it to my name to sound more mature. Can you introduce your new single 123? My new single called “123” is written by me and produced by The Hitters. Recorded by su-

preme studios & mastered by Paranoyd studios. Do you plan to shoot a visual for this summer single? Yes, I plan to shoot my “123” music video very soon. What are your projects for the rest of the year? Promoting my single as well as working on my album while still maintaining to do my scheduled shows. What are your other talents? Do you also plan to act and model more? I’m also an actress & I love it. I may do more roles if I can manage my time properly, lol. I’m not really a model but depending on the situation and cause, I may do it. How did you hook up with Jeremy Whittaker? Can you tell the story? He found me by watching the “Take It” music video with Mavado. He thought I was a little too glamorous for his film, as he stated; but then he watched my EPK where I was in a more simple look then he felt I would be perfect for it.
You are a very versatile artist. We can hear your vibes on rnb, hip hop, dancehall and electro pop songs... If you had to choose only one genre, which one would it be? If I had to choose, I’d choose the one you love the most! Lol I got you didn’t I? Ok ok I’d choose Dancehall because I love my roots, and it’s so alive. Artistically, who is your role model? Your mentor? Artistically, Michael Jackson is my role model, and 2Pac is my mentor.

Interview by Trisha Cassis
How did you meet Rick Ross? How did the group « Triple C’S » begin? Share that story with us... I met Ross back in 96 in the streets. We bumped into each other and we had the same agenda… Tryna’ get rich off this rap shit ! Later we met Torch the next year 97, 98 and then we recently brought Young Breeze. He’s the young addition from our Hood. We were making some noise around 09 and did release the album “Custom cars & cycles”. As a friend and a major rapper in the game, what did Rick Ross bring to your music career? Ross is like my proof reader. Once i roll it past Ross and he gives it the “ok”, then i know the world is gonna love it! I admire his work ethic! Very inspiring… We’ve been doing this for so long that i picked up a lot of good work habits from him. So far, What has been your career Highlight? My career highlight has been this year ! This whole year has been my career highlight cause i finally got a record by myself! Off the ground, and making my own mark without anybody cosigning, or without a major record label behind me. I’m doing it by myself with no video no radio play… made some nice moves this year and made a good mark by myself…SELF Made !
The “ROLLIN” song with WAKA FLOKA was a smashin street HIT this year ! How did you hook up with him? We seen Waka on the road here and there… we had a few beats going thru or whatever ... he was rocking with that one so we just made it hapeen… made history. What is the concept behind your recent music video «BOGOTA»? “BOGOTA” is on top of WorldStar right now we got proably 8 milllions so far in 3 days! That video refers to Medellin, Colombia… I refer to my music as dope, and it’s that good dope that comes from Medellin…so I refer to my mixtape as Bogota. I put that song as the lead single just to let them know what’s coming in the mix… I got Travis Porter buff, Meek Mill and a couple of other great artists in there. All good ! What are your upcoming 2012 Project? Solo Album in perspective? Its looking like I’m coming up with a solo album… I’ve been putting the ground work this year to set it up for next year…so once i come up with these smash singles again… Hopefully, that’ll just head on and spiral into a solo album and we can take a deal… After so many years in the game, What are now your motivations? Your goals? To have longevity… i wanna be doing this for a long time!!!

VALERY VS. RAQUEL Growing up in Orlando, FL, What did bring you to California? A road trip vacation! I was only supposed to visit California for a couple weeks and things just started happening. One of my best friends introduced me to my manager Sheila and the rest is history! She believed in me and helped me get all the basics together. If it wasn’t for her help and influence I wouldn’t be where I am today. Life is so crazy and I am so very grateful.
What is the hardest part about acting? There are a lot of difficult things with making a career of it but of just acting itself- I’d say letting go and trusting your instincts. It’s just so easy to be in your head and try and get it the way you hope the director/writer envisioned it but when you just let go and embrace the process because you enjoy ‘acting’ and trying things a couple different ways, it’s not as scary.
Despite your recent success, do you still keep strong links with your family in Puerto Rico? Yes! My grandparents are still there, some aunts and uncles and several cousins. The rest of my fam lives in NY and FL. My family IS my strength. No doubt about it.
Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years? I see a woman who knows even more about what she wants/doesn’t want. I see more of my family closer to me than now. I’ll be doing as much film as I have TV, writing, and traveling! I’m such a planner but I’ve come to realize more and more that life is going to be what it’s meant to be! But in the end, I see myself happy.
We guess “Hit The Floor (VH1)” is one of your biggest highlight so far. How did you get this opportunity? Tell us the story! It’s definitely a favorite! I auditioned for the show when it was still called “Bounce” in 2012! I had a couple of stages of callbacks and a network test. All auditions incorporated dancing and acting. It was crazy! I loved my audition sides (script) and although I’ve always loved dance, I hadn’t danced as long as my competition (One of them told us in the waiting room she graduated from NYU in dance) so needless to say I was really nervous. But I lucked out that my characters story wasn’t solely based in the dance world. Whew! I am so freakin’ grateful I got this opportunity. You have no idea! What is the main difference between Valery & Raquel (your role on the show)? The main difference is that Raquel is more impulsive than Valery. She wears her heart on her sleeve like I do but when I tend to over think and over analyze things, she usually runs with her feelings. What do you like the most about your character? That she is so so brave. She follows her heart and is trying to be the best mother she can be and have a better life for herself as well. That’s not always easy. There’s so much heart behind her decisions and although that’s not always a good thing, I respect her fearlessness. And what do you hate the most? The same thing that I love! Lol She loves so much and so easily that it tends to hurt her more than help a lot of times. I hate it because everyone wants love so it’s something out of her control. Or so it seems sometimes. As strong as she is, that longing really clouds her from making smart decisions. Who is your favorite actor/actress? I’m so indecisive so picking just one is hard! I love Rachel McAdams and Angelina Jolie for different reasons. And Sandra Bullock is up there too!
You have latin origins... How does this culture impact on your life professionally? And as a woman? Professionally, it’s been interesting. A lot of people complain about the lack of roles in TV/Film for Latinos and there’s definitely A LOT of truth to that but to be honest, being Latina has been helpful in my career personally. A lot of the roles I’ve booked have catered to my roots. I’m bilingual so it’s helped me as a host too. I just honestly can’t complain. As a woman, my culture is such a huge part of who I am. It’s my family, my childhood, my memories and my life. I’m such a proud Latina. I love our music, our passion and don’t get me started on our food! It grounds me and at the same times lifts my spirit higher. I bet that doesn’t even make sense but it feels right! Lol! You are very involved in charitable organizations... Can you tell us more about it? Yes! I’m an ambassador for Best Friends Animal Society! Their dream is that one day no more animals will be killed in our shelters. They have amazing adoption fairs, encourage spay/neuter to minimize the number of animals that make it into those shelters and are on a dedicated mission to ‘Save Them All!’ I am one of many people who bought my “baby” from a puppy mill website. I was ignorant to what these companies were doing so I think it’s important for me to help others who just like me, might not realize what giving these places business is doing to these innocent animals. There’s so much behind BFAS so I encourage you to visit www. bestfriends.org and learn more! You’ll fall in love. What’s your worst nightmare? My family passing. Can’t even type this without getting choked up. Recurring dream? Ugh, I use to dream my mom passed away often. Especially when I was younger. I obviously have a thing about losing my family. I just honestly wouldn’t know what to do.
Between Valery & Raquel, who is The less shy? Raquel | The spiciest? Valery | The most ambitious? That’s a tie! They’re both ambitious just for totally different things. | The most sensitive? Hmmm Valery | The most romantic? Raquel | The most audacious? That’s a close call but since I just read episodes 7 & 8, Raquel totally takes the cake on that one. 18

Your top 3 artist from your area? There are so many artists that have become international phenomenon’s from my area. These are names your readers may never have heard of, but have been pioneers in the world of Bhangra. My top three would have to be: Sukshinder Shinda, A.S Kang and Balwinder Safri. All three have exceptional qualities as artists and have given aspiring artists like myself a great deal of inspiration. Your best musical experience ever in London? That would have to be London Mela this year. The mela is a big outdoor festival with lots of people from a variety of communities, around one hundred thousand people make it down there. I fulfilled one of my dreams by performing with a full on Orchestra. I was joined on stage by the 71 Philharmonia Orchestra - these guys are the Royal Albert Hall’s resident Orchestra. Just the thought of performing with them was overwhelming. It was such a breath taking experience, something that will always be special whatever else I do in my career. (watch highlights here) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-duroq8oIw
“Back in the 80’s there was a mad segregation on how music was consumed due to language barriers but now we have songs like ‘Mundeya to bach ke’ (beware of the boys) by Punjabi MC. That song has all communities jamming to it, whether or not they understand the lyrics.”

“I fulfilled one of my dreams by performing with a full on Orchestra. I was joined on stage by the 71 Philharmonia Orchestra...”
What do you love the most about your city? I love the energy of the people in my city, we’re warm, friendly and have got bags of passion for Punjabi music. We keep it real and Desi! What do you hate the most? The accent lol. It’s probably the most irritating accent in the UK.
The best place to showcase your music in live? Has to be Mela’s (festivals) I’ve done so many of them in the past 3 years of gigging and I feel like it gets better every year. The feeling of performing with a Live Band in front of thousands of music lovers gives me the urge to work the stage even harder. Anywhere that allows me to perform LIVE is a great stage to showcase my music. I’d love to have the opportunity to perform on World famous platforms, like Madison Square Garden, Royal Albert Hall and many across India, particularly mela’s out there. Does Indian music touch more and more people in your country. I mean out of the indian community? What is your opinion about that? Most definitely. I think music overall is becoming one because people are so open to different sounds. Back in the 80’s there was a mad segregation on how music was consumed due to language barriers but now we have songs like ‘Mundeya to bach ke’ (beware of the boys) by Punjabi MC. That song has all communities jamming to it, whether or not they understand the lyrics. I think music now is about sound design rather than just the lyrics which is advantageous for any style.
the partying culture here. I think ‘High Heels’ is a perfect example of how it’s influenced me. And the Indian touch... How does that mix of culture impact on your sound? The indian touch is in the composition of the songs and the lyrics. The music I consume is most definitely helping me produce these sounds because I’m influenced by what mainstream is producing and combining that with the Indian element. It gives it that edge, especially when you amalgamate different genres. Can you tell us more about the HIGH HEELS single? I feel like High Heels was meant to be my song because of how it came about. When I met up with the producer Honey Singh last year in November I recorded two songs which later we decided weren’t for me. We then went through a stage where we couldn’t agree on styles, but as time went by we came up with ‘Uchi adia da’. The song is exactly what I was looking for and I think the combination of a Hindi composition, punjabi lyrics and a European sounding beat worked well. What are your coming projects? I’ve just finished shooting my latest single (unnamed) I’ve collaborated with Dr Zeus on this one - he’s one of the most celebrated Desi producers in the UK. Its a completely different vibe to High Heels. I try my best to make different styles of music because it’s what I want to be known for. I feel I’ve done that by delivering songs like Theke wali, Tere Mere and Bari Der on my debut album JD. I feel I kept that trend with High Heels.
Define the London Lifestyle? What does it bring to your music? Energy is the perfect word to describe it. The majority of the music that comes out of our scene is energetic and I think it’s partly because

“I feel religion should be more of a personal dialogue between you and whichever God you choose...” societal standards as in religion or gender makes me a target yes, I’m frightened by these radical ideologies. However I will not stop my life and being who I am! As far as the music industry I have come across some bigotry and hatred by producers, artist, publications, who are afraid to work with an artist such as myself because they feel my music is too “gay” or my image isn’t very masculine. But i believe there is not a big difference between men and woman just what is between our legs!
Growing up in New York, How can you describe this area for our readers? FAST: you heard the line New York is the city that never sleeps, well its true there is something to do at all hours of the day. HARD: If you dont have a hardened shell this city can and will break you, I’ve seen the softest most innocent turn, in a short amount of time, from the sofest, fragilist, innocent person to someone impenetrable and the toughest turn into a quivering mass of jelly! ECLECTIC: NYC is really a melting pot and it is super eclectic by way of food music, the people are mainly nice but there are some people out there who would love to fuck you over! How did you fell in love with music? I fell in love with music at a very young age, i loved any drum type instrument i had a zylophone for kids that i adored hearing the sound to come out of it! It made me so happy. Then i receive for christmas a drum set and I fell in love with it! Who were your mentors? I’ll count Todd Carter of the NYC based group The Looking as my mentor being that he was the first person to have me record in a real studio for my track Perfect Love. We then since rerecorded it to give it a more livelier sound. I also took some vocal lessons with him as well. Those singers who did inspire you the most? The singers that inspired me are singers/bands that push the envelope! I love a lot of 80s and 90s groups. From Pet Shop Boys, Tears for Fears, Erasure, Bjork, Depeche Mode. “ Hip/ Hop” Nas, Fugees, Digable Planets, Kid Cudi. 24

From “Rock” Kevin (Ke’) Grivois, Garbage, Tove Lo, Mo, Your music has a very ‘experimental’ lovely flavor. Why is your music so emotional and deep? Thank you so much! I try to write from my experience but i also pull from life and what I’ve seen and I’ve experience a lot so i draw from the human condition what we all feel but maybe are to afraid to say out loud! Can you share with us your upcoming project called “Heaven”? I was approached by this producer from Toronto Canada named Mateo Palmisano to write lyrics to this track he had worked on and so it was really a dark downtempo electronic track with a great melody and a lot of space to work with and play around with these characters. I don’t want to divulge too much of what the song is about, however i will tell you it is a twisted sort of “Romeo+Juliet” situation but it has some nice twist at the end! How did the recent Orlando tragedy affect you as a man? And as an artist? That is a good question, at first it didn’t affect me. I guess I just was numb I couldn’t believe it happened then with all the media exposure and about 2 days later I was crying uncontrollably! Terrorism is horrible and senseless but in this case it seemed to be a bit of both a hate crime as well for the LGBTQ people so that is sad. The problem is I feel religion should be more of a personal dialogue between you and whichever God you choose! It’s when people want to force there beliefs on each other that problems arise. Me being a man who doesn’t adhere to
Singer, songwritter, composer... How can you stay inspired enough in each field? It’s easy because I’m merely singing what BAZOOKABUBBA wants me to. BAZOOKABUBBA is like an entity that has chosen Gary to communicate his feelings. Sometimes, he draws upon my life and sometimes other things! But I’m just the vessel for BAZOOKABUBBA to tell his story! Is an “Heaven” visual planned? Yes, I’m seeking out a good videographer who can capture this emotion that the song evokes. So if anyone knows a good one they can contact me therealbazookabubba@yahoo.com that is my direct email! How important is MUSIC in your routine? I go to sleep playing music, i wake up playing music. I think if i lost my hearing i would kill myself because music can change the world, music can heal, music can make you sad, lift you up, music is powerful and I’m glad to be doing music and to be able to work with some amazing producers and artist. I’m always looking to write the next important song that can change peoples mind for the future. So the future isn’t written I’m trying to write it!

From out of the back of our trunk, selling cds that way and having to be onfoot... We had to travel all around the universe to really spread our message.. to now where the internet is in everybody’s back yard! So that evolution where we went from cassettes, cds to cds, to mp3s and things of that nature... I think the evolution that took place has been tremendous where our loyal fan base, of the size that we have, can be reached by a push a button- every single one of them!
What are, according to you, the main qualities an artist should have to get longetivity in the game? The first quality is the love of the art of music. Gotta appreciate the art and, also, you have to keep a dedication to what you’re doing and determination to all that, which shows that you’re tireless at accomplishing your goals. Have a go getters mentality and not sit in your ass and expect things to happen for you... You have to get up and go get it..you have to
really have your heart into what you’re doing and be true to it..not let anyone tell you what you want or need to do. You have to know what you’re doing… that’s what adds to the longevity of an artist.
How has your music evoluated for the last years? How can u define your sound today? LAYZIE BONE’s world? Our sound evolved from five guys growing up together and listening to old school music of our parents like Gladys Knight, the Temptations, and all that and our music like New Edition, Michael Jackson up to RUN DMC and that evolution of where we started from gave us years and years to develop our sound before we were discovered by Eazie E -which ultimately was the sound that was being heard in the radio as far as harmonies and rappers singing and all that thing. So i think we came about from ninety nine to worldwide… and it’s the sound of today! So far, you have lived so many big events but what has been your number one Highlight? Could you pick one in particular? The most amazing highlight to me, was meeting Eazie E! That was the first famous person I had ever met! To be from Cleveland ohio and to meet him that was like super amazing! Just to see him as short as he was! i coulnt believe i was taller than him... I couldn’t believe it
at 18 years old! It just triped me out...
You are an artist, but a businessman as well! Can you tell us more about “Harmony Howse Ent»? How does it differ from MoThug Records? All the difference between them is that Mothug Records was a record company and, at the time, that’s what it was about... to become a record company to be able to put out artists and music. HHE is just a division of MTR… HHE is a full blown entertainment company. It is not about records any more. It’s the whole package... which is music, sports, non-profit organization, concerts, clothing. It’s the whole spectrum of the entertainment field. So we took the records off, we’re still MoThugs, which is “More True, Humbled United Gathereing Souls” and now it’s just HHE like my last name Howse... It’s just refurbishing the brand. it’s like planting a seed of a tree and you watch it bloom and blossom and it grows different branches… BoneThugs n Harmony was the main seed where you had MoThug, and other brands like 7th Sign, Thug Line... All those things brought it up from there and HHE is a division of Mothug Records just like a tree that has blossomed… You grow every ten years. It takes about that 10 years to establish a brand.. So after I established Mo Thug as a serious brand and over nine million records sold, I said “it’s time to start over again”! MR DREAMZ MAGAZINE

“Barack Obama is doing a good job, and I don’t pay attention to Fox and all these different negative channels and outlets out there providing news to the masses.” Do you work with many underground Artists? I work with a lot of underground artists but the main artists I work with is the family which is the F.B.G (Flesh N Bone Global), my wife Felicia who is the CEO of CHOSEN Empire over the “children division” and the different things that they tend to... But yes, I work with a lot of underground artists like Qween Ching, Thug Queen... We got the young female artists, and young kids too. We got the eight to twelve division, the thirteen to nineteen, the twenty to twenty four, and the twenty four to thirty and then you get to my club which is the Double O G’s.. We got a lot of things... So many aspects of what im doing! I feel like the united states army, I do more before 6am than most people do all day! I got help of course. Thanks to Rob who works the HHE website, Lisa Smith, TY, Drego.. I got plemty of help, it’s not solely upon me. It’s a virtue to have a team of people that have the same common goals and that’s my motto for T.E.A.M. “Together Everyone Achieves More” and that’s what we been doing. It is a slow walk when you doing so much but at the same time, when you moving kinda slow, you can pay attention to everything and stop and smell the roses here and there... Getting back to Qween Ching, tell us about this particular female artist. What’s your opinion? The gang needs a person like her. We also got Thug Queen. But Qween Ching brings realism and real situations about what’s going on in life to the table. Like a BoneThugs and Harmony. That, from a female perspective and ninety percent of the world can relate to and the other ten percent is superficial and materialistic and that’s something Qween ching is not... She’s just a from the heart rapper, She has concepts and things like that which are entertainment, but at the same time, you get a message and that’s what I adore about her! During this 2012 presidential year, i guess you follow the newscasts regularly... What is your opinion about the current situation for the minorities living in the hood? Do you see a difference between now and the early 90’s? We have all evolved. I think that, by our president BO running the first time, it brought awareness to the young generation from the

hood that this election process is very, very important. We got to select leaders that care about us. If u ask my opinion we need obama again. He had to clean up a mess that was near uncleanable... But he’s doing a good job, and I don’t pay attention to Fox and all these different negative channels and outlets out there providing news to the masses. I think we just gotta take the time and dig deeper and see what’s really been done.. a lot of people don’t state their presidential candidates preference like that. But I think we need Obama again one more time! I think we need him! I’m rooting for him... Your last Mixtape “Law of Attraction” got a real good buzz on internet? How did the public welcome that tape? What was the message behind that release? The public embraced it beautifully. Most of the messages I get via emails and all correspondence, I hear the same. They tell me that it’s my best work up to date, which makes me feel very good and very proud. The message behind is the law of attraction: You can do, be and have anything that you want as long as you put your mind to it and do the work that’s required. That’s the law of attraction! A lot of people don’t know that when you’re doing your work, it’s actually ninetynine percent thought and one percent actions so you really have to engage your brain! A lot of people get told that you can’t do this, that you cant do that, or I wont... A lot of disbelief and disconcern about what a person feels they can do. The law of attraction is basically to say that no matter what they say or what they do to you, you can always put your mind in a place to be successful, so that’s what it all means! that’s the message! That’s what the law of attraction is. What are your upcoming 2012 Project? More solo projects ? What’s new about your project with Fredro Starr? Fredro star, firestarter project.. is a couple of legends that have been doing this since the early nineties, who come together to show the world that you only get younger when you express yourself, so we’re showing that we get better with time, just like fine wine, as well as a project with Young Noble out at the end ot the year “Perfect Timing”. Then, I have the HHE compilation which consists of the younger generation like Little Red Scotty, my son as well...
and that project is called “Welcome to the Howse”. And we have a compilation of like never heard before music that the record company never put out which we call the lost archives. It will be available actually this month on househarmonyent.com. Also a book of poetry i’m realeasing, that’s called “Invisible Ink”, also the Thugs and Harmony book, “First of the Month Movie” which is a comedy slash drama, a dramedy, which tells us all about the real parables of the hood, how we came up on food stamps and then millions of millions of dollars... There are many more but I keep throwing them out as we go along...
“Another thing is to keep educated... It is very important to be educated, because a fool and his money will soon depart…”
Are you living now the best time in your life? I’m priming baby! This is my primetime! Right here! Even though I have twenty years of platinum hits and all! Me, being at the age that i’m now, I can truly express myself in a way that people can relate to without being so personal. I look at other celebrities who were priming at this age, like LL Cool J, all these people who went through a whole bunch of shit, but ultimately went through that stuff to get stronger in life and it prepared them to what was comin up in their futures and that’s where I think I am at right now. I believe as long as I play my cards right, and I do the work that’s required of me, through my heavenly father, and give him back, and being a philanthropist, the sky is the limit, and there is no limit to the sky... Do you plan to work with more artists beyond the borders ? In Europe? Theres a ton of people i’m working with overseas. I’m not in liberty to really say everyone im working with, I like to keep my ducks in a row, cause I think If I talk too fast, people will try to read this interview and shot me down and try to distract me and...the info im giving is quite a bit, at the same time I need to hold on to some informations as sacred as jewels... But Yes! im working with people in canada, in Germany, in South America, Africa, Australia… I got these different branches of Mo Thugs that i’m working with. It’s making us more of a global pheomenon, because we’re putting people in a place were they can actually touch superstars in their own town, and have someone to look up to besides Mo thugs and HHE that are six thousand miles away....
What is your advice for young upcoming artists who dream to shine in the music industry? I think that an artist should basically learn about this industry, this business before they get in this game. There are a couple of books out there that you can read that talk about the industry, and other books to keep you inspired.. Some people think that ‘tunnelvision’ is a bad thing, but I don’t think so because when you set ur eyes in your prize, I think its good… it just makes you move forwad because if your scope is too wide, you can easily get distracted, but once you keep your eyes on what you need, you gonna go get it… and then, you set another plan and you go get that! You gotta put one foot in front of the other one to walk, you gotta crawl before you walk! Another thing is to keep educated... It’s very important to be educated, because a fool and his money will soon depart… so I think if you keep God first, ( that’s the main ingredient, whatever you call your heavenly father essentially it is the same thing, just get a direct line between you and tour creator.) Keep your entourage to the minimum, made up of your workers and the people who believe in you... these are the things that work with success! Any particular message for our readers? My self, BoneThugs and all the subsidiary companies believe it’s all about family first. Keep your family first and everything else will fall in line... and family is not just blood relatives, it’s those who look out for you when no one else will..That’s your family!
