The newest rod in the Century range. The natural progression from the success of the LD is to create a more powerful blank which still retains the characteristics of the Tip tornado range. The rod is based on the standard supermatch but built with a new type of carbon exclusive to Century. It allows ultra slim blanks to be produced (21mm) which still retain the power of a beach rod. The new supermatch is rated 3-5.75oz but has been tested by Gerrys staff to comfortably take 6oz leads. The new materials also produce astounding sensitivity throughout the rod producing bite registration usually seen on light bass rods.
