Design & English group project – visual art interpretation Art work based on the idea of a poem written by Ruben Quesada. Poem: 2.5 Million Light-Years from this dark matter of my imagination There will always be air to breathe, maybe not on the surface, but deep inside the earth where igneous plutonic rocks grind into each other like the molars in my mouth keeping me awake each night. Some people choose to die–– I won’t.

I’m going to stay,

maybe not here on this planet, but far off past the Triangulum Galaxy falling into the translucent arms of Andromeda.

Its not just a fruit stand anymore, but still a family business. We put a lot of love into what we produce, that's the Mixon Citrus difference. In 1939 Rosen W. Mixon bought a twenty-five acre grove in the lush Florida, Upper Manatee River county. Once people tasted the fresh juicy oranges and the mild delicious grapefruits they came back year after year. The friendly Ma and Pa twenty-five acre grove and road side fruit stand has grown to three hundred and fifty acres, twenty retail stores, and a processing plant with around one hundred and twenty employees. Threw the years the family has continued to grow and produce the finest citrus in Florida.

“Son of man, can these bones live?” Can bones live? Or do they have ears? Well, the bones we’ll read about not only heard but responded…and became a great and mighty army as God breathed on them. Who needs Hollywood when heaven’s big screen offers the real deal? Make no bones about it…we are to be found in the narrative of this Coming Attraction. Are you playing your part? According to Ezekiel 37, we can march right out of the field of insignificance and walk right into the world of the miraculous. It’s time! Footprints in a Minefield

RIGHTEOUSNESS in an unrighteous world is possible! The Bible says righteousness will make His footsteps our pathway. We can set our mind on this truth… “As He is, so are we in this World…” What treasures await us when we decide to travel with Him through the minefield? Come along and discover the path made available to you in the midst of the minefield. So Long, Status Quo

We are called to live “according to His purpose” - but what does that look like? Say goodbye to the status quo and embrace the passion of living for a cause greater than yourself. This breakout will point you toward a life of greater impact and significance and inspire you to: Embrace Adventure . Refuse Apathy. Love ‘til it Hurts. Let’s change our world! Retake

Life is a series of ties between the past and the present. But too many times, there are ties that keep us from moving in the direction God is calling us. Imagine what would happen if forgiveness became more than just a good idea we talked about…freedom is possible. Discover how forgiveness can move from an idea into an action. He is able and you are worth it!

Imagine that... High School Session - Linda Winkler The invitation that has been extended to us says more than “RSVP if you want to enter heaven”. It is an invitation to a relationship with more than just a Savior, more than just a Friend, more than just a God. Too many times we get caught up in the rule keeping attitudes of life. God our Father desires to define grace to us from His perspective. An adventure you don’t want to miss. Fake ID

With the computer, design is not so clear anymore. It’s so confusing. I think the temptation is too big. People can mix all styles and typefaces together, but the results are definitely worse.

Technology disturbs the style. I know that students have to learn how to use the computer, but I think the best way would be to study design first, with no computers, and then perhaps use technology later on. I don’t think the two should be mixed so early on.

In an age when one in three students statewide drop out of high school each year, and academic achievement is at an all-time low, we are so blessed to have Trinity Christian School in our community. TCS, a safe learning environment, faithfully reinforces the Christian principles taught at home and challenges our students to academic excellence. Trinity Christian School is a place where students not only are encouraged to pray in school, but also are exhorted to love Christ more with each passing day. In addition, TCS is a launching pad where students learn the value of patriotism and the responsibility of becoming engaged citizens.

Trinity Christian School

AcAdemic AnnuAl Fund

Daily our fully certified teachers are preparing students for college and career choices. And with National Merit Scholars in our ranks, we stand as one of the top performing academically rigorous schools in the community. Did you know that tuition covers only 79% of the academic budget each year at TCS? That leaves an annual shortfall that must be addressed. Our shortfall for this academic year is $226,000.

What is the Raising the Standard Athletic Fund? The Raising the Standard Athletic Fund has been created to communicate the need and provide an organized approach to meeting the annual fundraising goals of the TCS Athletic Department. We want to give all families the opportunity to support a worthy group of TCS students and coaches. The athletic department at TCS raises significant funds each year to support its various programs. With an average of 85% of Trinity students participating in athletics it is imperative that we do all we can to ensure that each program is given the best opportunity for success. Currently the budget is supported by sports fees, gate receipts etc. This amount covers only 26% of the budget. The remaining amount has been raised each year through various fundraising endeavors.

The Bill and Joyce herron

excellence in education endowment‌ an investment in our future

Trinity Christian School 7002 Canton Ave Lubbock, TX 79413 TCS FOUNDATION: 806.791.6583 WWW.TCSLUBBOCK.ORG

What is the Bill and Joyce Herron Excellence in Education Endowment?

Why is Participation in the Bill and Joyce Herron Excellence in Education Endowment So Important?

The Bill and Joyce Herron Excellence in Education Endowment solicits one of the first and most important financial gifts that we ask of each parent, grandparent, faculty, staff, alumnus and friend of Trinity Christian School. Seed money totaling $121,543 for this endowment has already been contributed in honor of Bill Herron, known to each of us as a “man of peace.” We will add to this amount annually with a one-month fundraising drive held each October. Dollars raised from the campaign will go directly toward keeping tuition rates reasonable and competitive for the future. The Endowment campaign will also help fund the daily operations and continuous improvements of Trinity Christian School. Gifts can be donated in full, or pledges may be paid throughout the year. Monies donated to the Endowment will grow with interest, and TCS will draw from this interest annually to meet the shortfall not covered by tuition. This helps ensure that hard working families will be able to afford an excellent Christian education for their children through tuition assistance.

Were you aware that tuition revenues cover only 80% of the annual budget at TCS? That leaves a significant yearly shortfall which limits our ability to provide much needed tuition assistance for our hard working families seeking quality Christian education for their children. Though we have an immediate need, which is being addressed through other means, we sense the Lord is leading us to think longterm and fund an endowment ensuring that future generations of students will have access to an excellent Christian education. It is our hope that you will seek the Lord’s guidance in asking Him what He desires for you to give in support of the Endowment. We trust that He will call some to give much and others to give little, but just as the Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills, so He blesses our giving for His glory.

Trinity Christian Yes, you can count on us! Our family has prayed together about the need to think ahead, and we want to be a part of the solution. We, the __________________ family, feel that the Lord is leading us to give $____________ to this year’s Excellence in Education Endowment Drive. We would like to pay for this the following way: (check option)
