Using the Internet and Word

EPS Technology in Action in a NSW school

This term Year 4 have been learning about Working Together for their COGs (Connected Outcomes Group) unit. They worked with Mrs Thomas to learn how to use two applications (Internet and Word) side by side to research information about council services and publishing their finding using Word.

Students were asked to create a heading using Word Art, they learnt how to insert and customize bullets, selected text to select font size and style.

Some students are still developing their understanding of what a service is which can be seen in their document page. Errors with this have not been corrected to show parents what their children are capable of achieving.

We are very proud of our efforts. This task took two weeks (2 x 1hr sessions) to complete.
