At New Tech@Ardis we have three essential skills, they are Respect: we must respect our peers and teachers and also our equipment/ school supplies. Responsibility: We need to be responsible for our laptops that are given to us, we also need to be responsible for our actions. Trust: We must be able to trust our peers and in turn be trustful. At New Tech@Ardis we have nine 21st century skills, i will be listing only three of them, they are Work Ethic: is based off the belief of hard work, it is also the belief of moral benefit and its ability to enhance character. Collaboration: working in a team group, working together, and having leadership skills. Use of Technology: Technology is a very important part of our classes here at New Tech, In various jobs technology is a very important part.

Project Based Learning (PBL)
YPSILANTI NEW TECH @ ARDIS
Project based learning is an important part of our curriculum, all of our classes at New Tech are combined into two classes, they are Geo-Art (geometry and art), Bio-Lit (biology and english/language arts), and Us History and Computer Applications.
Geo-Art is a combination of Geometry and Art. This class like all the other classes at New Tech are taught by two teachers, this class is taught by Mathew Perry who teaches geometry and Katherine Fisk who teaches art.
Bio-Lit is a combination of Biology and Language Arts. This class is taught by Hans Sowder who teaches Biology and Carli Pacheco who teaches Languages Arts.
U.S. History/Geography and Computer Applications are taught by two teachers, Mark Salzer who teaches Computer Applications and Patricia Thomas who teaches U.S History/Geography.
