This publication is a collection of definition for terminologies in color, imaging technology and color management system. It offers definitions to help readers understand terms that used in textbooks, technical papers dealing with color imaging and its reproduction. Professor Robert Chung and his students at rit School of Print Media compiled the glossary initially for teaching and learning. The 2008 edition has been enlarged to include more up-to-date resources, e.g., iso (International Organization of Standardization), company brochures, and various web sites as listed at the Appendix. Terminologies are arranged in alphabetical order. Some of the terms contain visual aids with their sources properly acknowledged.
