The ChurchConvening

Joshua Ville is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), an outreach arm of The City of David, Region 20. This parish was inaugurated on the 10th of January 2010 by Pastor E.A Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian

Church of God (RCCG).

It is a church inspired by Joshua 1:1-3, as its vision stands as, "Raising Influential Leaders, Fulfilling Purpose". Our focus is on Leadership, Influence, and Purpose.

The Night of Worship Vision

VISION:

To create an atmosphere for an all-night worship experience where people gather to worship the Lord for who He is, and not necessarily for the things He has done or will do.

MISSION:

To reach out to all people through music. To live, teach and practice a true heart of worship.

t is with great delight that I welcome you to the 12th edition of the Night of Worship. We are deeply grateful to the Almighty Father who has consistently overshadowed our humanity with His divinity from the very first edition of NOW to what it has become today. We are amazed to see how a vision that was birth in our living room has evolved into

what it has become today. It could only have been the Almighty God at work and to Him alone be all the glory, praise & honor.

In the same token we extend our appreciation to our partners and volunteers who have prayerfully & materially supported this Godgiven vision year in year out. We know that the LORD will continue to

bless them exceedingly & abundantly and meet them at every point of their needs.

This year 2022, the LORD Almighty is set to do a brand new thing in the lives of worshippers. The one and only living God is about to show mercy IN THE MULTITITUDE OF HIS MERCIES - PSALM 5:7 to as many of us who are ready to come into His temple to worship Him in the fear of Him. The power & presence

of the Almighty is prepared to alter the dynamics of our lives for good and for His glory in this season. We are believing that the LORD will display His power & might in various areas and through diverse manifestations as we all lift up holy hands in one accord to worship God and God Alone. He remains the only audience at the Night of Worship and we trust Him to transform lives as He always does.

Welcome once again to the Night of Worship; I enjoin you to be very expectant tonight and focus only on our audience of ONE.

Ada Akin Femi OKUNUGA WALE EHI

Ada Ogochukwu Ehi is a Gospel singer, Songwriter, Recording and Performing artist. Ada Ogochukwu Ehi is simply known by her stage name Ada Ehi and was born in the early ’80s. She is married to Moses Ehi, an entrepreneur and CEO of FreeNation and SoundCode Studios; and they have a daughter named Emma-Jane.

Ada Ehi holds a degree in Chemical & Polymer Engineering from Lagos State University where she joined the Believers Loveworld Campus Fellowship. Joining the Christ Embassy Choir, she has been actively involved in the Music Ministry of Christ Embassy. She has performed at Christ Embassy events in several programs around the world including Europe, America, and several African countries.

Ada Ehi’s singles have created a whirlwind of sensations all over the world. Her single ‘Only You” released in 2019 was listed as one of the top 20 most viewed songs.

Ada Ehi released her latest album in December 2020 titled “Born of God”

Akinwale is a lover of God with a strong passion for music. His love for music began at a very tender age and as a young teenager he served as the music director on different levels in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. His exceptional gift further opened up a leadership position for him as he was appointed Music Director for the Redeemed Christian Church of God Teens Mass Choir at the National level where he served for 5 years.

He is currently a member of Sounds of Heaven and the Psalmist, the resident choir of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Joshuaville under the leadership of Pastor Taiwo Bolodeoku.

His love for fashion and drive for solving problems birthed a bespoke fashion oufit (Walt Apparel) and an e-commerce company (Kontainer.ng) where he currently serves as the Lead Director.

Femi Okunuga is a Gospel artiste, a worship minister known for his strong desire to deliver the message of reconciliation to Christ through Music.

He is the convener of The Reconciliation Worship Meeting, aimed at leading people to Christ while admonishing the saved to have a closer relationship with God.

He is also a member of the RCCG National Praise Team while currently serving as a worship leader in his local church, RCCG, THE OASIS Victoria Island, Lagos. He is married to Ruth Okunuga and blessed with great seeds.

Judi Kene Segun KAY BUKKY FUNMI

Judith Ikechukwu-Anselem (nee Kanayo) popularly known as Judikay is a global award- winning gospel recording artist, song writer and music minister. Minister Judikay is fervent about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She believes that it is the power of God unto salvation to those who hear and receive the life of Christ through her sermons in songs.

She has won the Best Breakthrough Minister Female award at 2020 Maranatha Awards. She also won African Artist of the Year at the 2021 edition of the Impact Gospel Awards. She is joyfully married to her hearthrob; the phenomenal Pastor Ikechukwu Anselem Opara, an Associate Pastor with the Crosspoint Church Lagos, a leadership coach, a public speaker, and an author.

Her life is supported by multiple accounts of healings and God's grace. God's presence is experienced by her entire global audience through her songs.

Olubukola Akinbode popularly called Kenebukky is a gospel music minister and a seasoned worshipper of God whose music is a combination of contemporary highlife and the Nigerian/ African music.

She served as a praise and worship leader with the Sounds of Heaven and The Psalmist - The resident choir at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Joshua ville. She is also presently a member of the RCCG praise team. A graduate of Microbiology from the University of Lagos. She has an EP to her honour titled “Hallowed be thy name”

A lover of God who through the Holy Spirit became fully aware that music is a terrific weapon of warfare and to the worship of the Sovereign God. He is a music minister who, through the strumming of the strings ministering exclusively to the Lord, sounds from heaven fills the earth; A reflection of God’s love and grace.

Segunfunmi, one of the most soughtafter guitar player highly dedicated and experienced with over 15 years in jazz and contemporary music. A passionate guitar player who has his extraordinary touches and feels on notable albums of high-profile music ministers such as Nathaniel Bassey, Victoria Orenze, Enitan Adaba, Onos, Ty Bello, just to mention but a few, and producers like Wole Oni, Rotimi Akinfenwa, Wilson Joel and many more globally. He is currently the resident guitar player of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Joshua Ville, Lagos Nigeria under the leadership of Pastor Taiwo Bolodeoku. Segunfunmi is a graduate of Quantity Surveying from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Beejay SAX

Abolaji David Banjoko is a gospel saxophonist driven by an unrelenting love for Jesus. His ministry focuses on leading God’s people in rendering praises and offering sounds of worship to the King of Kings. He has 3 albums to his credit (Mighty God, Awesome God and Marvelous God) and he is the convener of Beejay Sax Live Concert;

He is a psalmist in his home church; RCCG Joshua Ville. He is also a member of the anointed & highly recognised RCCG National Praise Team.

Asides from playing the saxophone, he enjoys travelling. He is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s finest saxophonists distinguished by his unique, rich and spirit-filled tone which makes him sought after within and beyond Nigeria.

“But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.”

Sounds of Heaven

Sounds of Heaven & The Psalmists are the Resident Choir and Presiding Praise & Worship Team of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, JoshuaVille. They comprise an incredibly talented army of Spirit-led worshippers and musicians and has birthed a host of renowned anointed minstrels, songwriters, gospel artistes and ministers popularly known for taking simple worship experiences and infusing it with the Power and Presence of God to make it a true Worship experience.

Voices in Zion & The Apostles

The Choir of The City Of David, a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God known as the Voices In Zion and The Apostles is an arm of the Church whose main responsibility is to take charge of the music ministry of the church. The group is made up of people from different walks of life, who have set themselves aside to serve the Lord with their talents.

Our Vision statement is found in Isaiah 61: 1-3: “ The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek, he sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that the might be call the trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”

Among the group are professionals in music and in the entertainment industry who have also committed themselves to bringing down the Presence of the Most High God through Praise and Worship and taking the church into the presence of God. To the glory of God, testimonies of healing, promotion, deliverance etc have been expressed from people who have come under the ministration of the Choir. Voices In Zion and The Apostles are also richly blessed as people’s need are met. The Pastor in Charge of the Church- Pastor Idowu Iluyomade oversees the Choir. The Head of Department is Pastor Babatunde Balogun ( Saxtee )

Hillsong London

Hillsong London is a local church based in the heart of the West End that began over 20 years ago and continues to thrive as one of the many Hillsong Churches around the world. Hillsong is passionate about equipping and mobilising believers everywhere with Christ-centered songs of God-glorifying worship for the building of the church. As well as serving in the 9 locations and 22 weekly services across the UK, the Hillsong London team travels throughout Europe, leading multitudes in dynamic, heartfelt worship of Jesus.

SHARING THE NOW EXPERIENCE

Last year, I sowed into NOW for success in my exams and to pass at one sitting. Before the exam started, I had peace, but the devil tried to steal it. I was listed among those not eligible to write one of the courses because of a particular clerking I didn’t submit, which was due to the doctor’s strike in that period. I kept trusting God and he removed that mountain. I wrote the exam and it wasn’t the way most of us expected it to be; a lot of things had changed but I still kept trusting God. The results were released earlier than expected, but I give glory to God because I passed all my papers.

GBAJABIAMILA AJIBIKE

A week before NOW 2016, my sister was kidnapped in Kogi State and the kidnappers demanded 10 million naira. On the Night of NOW, I switched my phone off and worshipped. I didn’t ask for anything but on Saturday morning, I got a call that she was released Friday midnight.

AFOLAKEMI AKINTOYE

I want to thank God for my life and for all the things he has done. All my life I have always applied for scholarships but I never got them. Last year, I applied for another one and I prayed about it seriously during the Night of Worship, and to the glory of God by 8.am the following day, I was called that I had been given the scholarship. I was the only one from the University of Lagos that got that scholarship, all glory be to God.

OLAJUMOKE SURAKATU

During NOW, we prayed for my elder sister’s married life and by December 2016 she got engaged.

TAIWO OYEKOYA

I had been seeking admission into the University for 15 years, but after praying about it at N.O.W 2013, God in His infinite mercy has provided me admission.

CALEB LINUS

I want to thank God for healing me. I use to have severe pains on the right side of my stomach once in a while and during night of worship  the  pains started and got worse, at a point I was having issues sitting down or standing up, I became very uncomfortable but during Dunsin's ministration he gave a word of prophecy over someone with pains and I claimed it, to the glory of God the pains stopped and up till today I haven't felt the pain..

I had very little to sow at the last N.O.W, but God has enlarged my coast significantly. He has provided me a new job, great connections, and financial increase.

VICTOR ABU

It was the period for NOW 2016, and God spoke to me saying, “If you can do this, I will give you a blessing you don’t deserve.” I made a pledge, even though the money pledged was not paid up until November and the next week was the yearly appraisal at work. My appraisal ended in the first category and secondly it also led to another nomination for a promotion. As against the usual process, there were 12 conditions attached. I want to thank God that out of two nominees from my direct unit, God gave me a promotion with increase with was over seven times the amount pledged.

AJENIFUJA ADEWALE

I sowed a seed of faith for the Night of Worship this year and I’m already receiving the fruits in outstanding measures.

THELMA NGOZI

At the N.O.W 2013 I cried unto God for a job, accommodation, and settling down. To His glory, He has taken care of ALL.

PELUMI OLUWATOSIN

I lost my dad a week before N.O.W 2012, but there was a prophecy at the N.O.W spoken that God would fill every void and my family will know no lack. True to His word, God has continued to be with me and my family. He has increased us on all sides. My sister and I were saved from a ghastly car accident, and we have been blessed with a new, better car than the one we had.

DAMILOLA OLUWABIYI

In preparation for NOW 2016, my wife and I had decided to sow a particular amount but keyed into stretching ourselves when Minister Badu was around. We ended up giving more than double our initial seed and prayed that the Lord would remember us. Within two weeks, I won an award at work; I had prayed for God to remember me because all my colleagues in my team had won the country award but mine was much bigger. It came with an all-expense paid trip to South Africa to receive the award and a prize money that was more than the seed sown towards NOW. In 2017, my boss told me the I was being underpaid for my role and the kind of work I was doing and they decided to reflect this in my salary increase and bonus. My wife also experienced this in her place of work; one of her bosses didn’t particularly like her. We prayed about this situation and God brought a situation that caused my wife to shine and obtain favour with her

DEJI AMUND

Trust that you've rested from the stress of the whole planning and running around to put the Night of Worship together for thousands of people to experience. I'm still recovering from it, it was such a great experience for me and I even got a testimony from a friend who God healed from a heart condition she had from birth right about the time Dunsin ministered, We give God all the glory! He always shows up for us. Again I say, God bless you and the Team in Jesus name Amen.
