Introduction
OUR VISION The Lotus Educational Fund Ltd aims to provide educational opportunities in rural Laos for ethnic girls living in isolated villages by assisting them to attend school on a regular basis. AIMS OF THE FUND It is accepted that 50% of girls in rural Laos do not access to education. The Lotus Educational Fund Ltd is committed to providing educational access for young ethnic minority girls in Laos. Furthermore the Trust is a voice advocating for the provision and importance of education for young girls living in rural areas.

Distributing uniform packs in 2008 and agin in 2011. each year the Lotus Fund provides uniforms, books and payment of registration fees for 44 young girls to attend school in Savannahket, Laos. 3

The Lotus Educational Fund Ltd acts as a voice to raise awareness publicly. The Fund operates to ensure the commitment of the wider community to the education of girls living in poverty in Lao PDR. 5
Each year the girls come from the six local villages in anticipation of our meeting. It is always wonderful to see how much the girls have grown each year. 6
