ICS 1 Substructure
When assembling the rail below suspended ceilings, we recommend to use the provita substructure. The four part U-shaped rail system must be fastened in seven different places. The order of the spacers should comply with the layout shown in the sketch - each of them 90° turned to the next one - so that a strong construction will be given in all directions. An essential requirement for security and optimal functionallity of our rails is the proper and professional assembly of the spacers and rails.

The rails are mounted to the connectors, though fastening at any other point is also possible. The pre-drilled holes in the connectors can be used as a drilling template for the rails. This guarantees an exact fit of the rails, spacers and raw ceiling. The spacers‘ slots can be used for both, even out irregularities during doweilling as well as in the building‘s ceiling. Maximum horizontal distance between 2 spacers: appr. 70 cm. The substructure spacer Version C is suitable for an intermediate ceiling up to 50 cm. While Version D can be used for intermediate ceiling higher than 50 cm. The ceiling rails can be mounted directly to the ceiling or support structure, using the corresponding fastening materials. However, a spacer is needed for suspended ceilings. The spacers are made of galvanized steel and easy to install. They are anchored in the building‘s ceiling and bridge the gap between concrete and suspended ceiling, thus guaranteeing a sturdy substructure. Mounting solutions
Installation Instruction The subconstruction for the systems ICS 2 consist of galvanized steel perforated sections in a V-shaped order. Its parts are permanently screwed together. Irregularities in the building and suspended ceilings can be compensated with slots. Each of the spacers should be turned 90° to the next one, so that a strong construction will be given in all directions. The load bearing capacity of each mounting point should be at least 80 kg. The maximum distance between two spacers should not be more than 80 cm.
