Apprenticeships The Skills Company is the biggest provider of Apprenticeships in Greater Manchester. We have around 300 Apprenticeship vacancies at any one time. Apprenticeships are jobs with training and are available at three levels: Intermediate, Advanced and Higher. The level of Apprenticeship you complete will depend on your previous qualifications and the job role. An Apprenticeship involves working at least 30 hours a week and usually lasts for a year or longer. Your paid working hours would include time for attending one of our centres one day a week or being assessed in the workplace. We also offer more flexible training methods such as e-blended learning and block release.

With an Apprenticeship, you can:

ÂŁ

Earn while you learn

Achieve a nationally recognised qualification

Gain valuable skills and experience

Apprenticeship training is specifically tailored to the skills that employers are looking for, now and in the future. This gives Apprentices a major advantage in the workplace, allowing them to progress quicker and go on to increase their qualifications, earn more money and climb the career ladder. Apprenticeships are very different to going to school, college or university. They are real jobs with a real salary. You will be part of a team, working alongside colleagues, under the supervision of a manager or supervisor. As well as your employer, the staff at The Skills Company will support you and push you to achieve great success before, during and after your Apprenticeship. For details of what Apprenticeships we offer, please see our career pages (19-49).
