Summary The project coordinator was company M SORA, Trading and production, JSC, the partner in project is company GS Georg Stemeseder GmbH. The project was 36 months long. ECO-S insulated window are windows which uses wooden wainscot with air holes for its insulation. Its benefits are technical and thermal characteristics that are comparable to other insulation products (e.g. polystyrene, polyethylene foam, polyurethane foam, etc.), easy production with low operating costs and, most important, a sustainable and fully recyclable product made of renewable raw material, namely wood. ECO-S insulation has fulfilled all European legislative norms. During the project they have been sold to Italy, England, Germany, France, UK, Slovenia and USA. New markets have been established and long term cooperation was founded. Our partner in project, GS Stemeseder, have adjusted the ECO-S insulation to be able to sell it to other window producers in big quantities. The new W ood Plastic Composite material was developed. The philosophy of air cavities in the profiles as the insulation material are here of main focus also. The goal of the project was to replicate ECO-S products throughout the European countries and wider and we must say we have been very successful in doing that. The projects has formally stopped in November 2014, but for JSC M SORA and GS Stemeseder this is was just the end of first phase of a successful story we intend to write.
