Tall Pines 906-822-7713 - tallpinesamasa.com ife happens fast, and this past week I was reminded the same can be said for the snowmobile industry. I’ve been blessed to be involved in the powersports industry for the better part of 30 years. During that span I’ve been fortunate to have had the chance to ride and evaluate just about every snowmobile produced – some were winners, others…not so much. But regardless of how “good” or “bad” those sleds were, each have played a valuable role in the evolution of the sport.
There’s little doubt today’s modern snowmobile looks and rides dramatically different and is far superior compared to one from 40-years ago. But what I realized recently is the same can be said for a snowmobile from just 10-years, even 5-years ago. You could say I’ve become comfortably numb to the incremental but often significant improvements snowmobiles have made and continue to make year-over-year. The same can be said for helmets, apparel, and just about everything else related to this sport.
I say this not to brag, but to recognize the hard work and dedication so many put forth to make the snowmobile one of the most remarkable and magical vehicles in the world. If you haven’t experienced the latest innovations, the new technology, the incredible ride quality, and the performance of today’s latest snowmobiles, you owe it to yourself to ride one this winter.
Whether you consider yourself an enthusiast, a casual rider thinking about returning to the sport, or maybe you want to become a new rider, make this the winter you rediscover or ignite the magic of snowmobiling. I can guarantee, you will walk with a smile that will be hard to erase and memories that will last a lifetime.
