Minnesota snowmobile legend, Levi LaVallee, embarked on a mission to accomplish a lifelong dream of riding an inverted loop on a snowmobile - a feat only ever previously conquered by a few Polaris Thrill Team riders before him.

There are some great videos documenting LaVallee’s Full Circle project on the Red Bull website all aimed to revisit the history of snowmobiling at the birthplace of the sport in Québec City, Canada which challenged LaVallee’s skills on a custom course built on one of the country’s oldest military bases, La Citadelle. The freestyle snowmobile icon has had a decorated career and accomplished many unique projects in his lifetime, but there has always been one elusive item on his bucket list, the loop. The inspiration comes from The Polaris Thrill Team, who completed the world’s first loop on a snowmobile in 1969. In Full Circle, LaVallee brings this idea to Quebec and pushes himself to new limits by taking on an ambitious course culminating in a 30ft (9.14m) loop. With that goal in mind, hours of research and development went into making the course and building a loop feature fit for a snowmobile. Snow park and design creation company Today’s Park partnered with LaVallee to serve as lead engineers on the project. One of the biggest challenges was developing a design to bring such a large feature into the location. Clocking up high speeds on a snowmobile, Levi had to negotiate the twists and turns of the course built on La Citadelle with just inches between the edges of steep hills and drops. The course, over a kilometer in length, includes step ups, banks and jumps offering a freestyle paradise for the professional snowmobiler.

We finally found a solution to eliminate rattling garage doors and the never-ending chase to properly adjust them to combat windy days.

No longer will you have cold or hot air and their associated elements blowing through the cracks and into your shop. The solution was painless to install and very reasonably priced.

The Green Hinge System is based in Wisconsin and was engineered for varying height doors and widths, and when installed, the spring loaded hinges apply pressure to the track and rollers, pushing the door tight to the frame and seals. This not only keeps the elements out, but your door will stop rattling and open much smoother. An added bonus is the savings on your energy bill if you heat or cool your shop.

Installation was quick and foolproof if you can read directions and are able to wield basic hand/power tools. This was a huge seller for us, because our arch nemesis in life are garage doors…we swear they are made with equal parts rocket appliance and voodoo magic. We ordered directly from the Green Hinge website and shipping was quick, and product well packaged with simple directions.
