Azalea HALL
OPENING FALL 2025!
We are excited to introduce our new 159,000 square-foot residential hall, Azalea. Azalea will feature private, single-room living areas nested together in pod-like communities available to students of all classifications. Additionally, Azalea will host the Luckyday Scholars Living-Learning Community.
Azalea will feature a dining facility and a FEMA-grade storm shelter!

Application for Admission Opens at 8 p.m. CDT
Housing priority is determined primarily on a student’s date of application to the university. Students can apply to the university through apply.msstate.edu or commonapp.org beginning on Thursday, August 1.
Tuesday , OCTOBER 1
Housing & General Scholarship Applications Open
Students must be admitted to MSU prior to completing their housing application and/or their scholarship application.
Sunday , DECEMBER 1
General Scholarship Application (GSA) Priority Date
To receive maximum consideration for competitive scholarships, please complete the GSA by this date. Log into your MyState account to find the Scholarship block and apply.
Monday , FEBRUARY 3
Orientation Sign-Up Opens
Students who plan to attend MSU in the summer or fall of 2025 should sign up for orientation to confirm their attendance to MSU!
