Manuela Thames

I am a German who moved to the United States in 2004 when I got married to my American husband. Currently we live in Saint Paul, Minnesota with our two young sons. I have been practicing photography for about five years. My current projects include a lot of self portraiture. A primary artistic motivation is a desire to visualize the struggles and the pains of life, the experience of loss and grief, my journey toward self knowledge, and the beauty of it all.
