KEY POINTS & UPDATES FROM SRA MEETINGS
CAUCUS REPORT PERIOD •• SRA representatives are excited to be back to school for the 2016 year! Each caucus along with the Services Commissioner, Executive Board and President reported on their projects and progress on year plans throughout the summer. INFORMATION PERIOD •• Compass renovations have been completed on time and on budget with funding from the Student Life Enhancement Fund (SLEF). Students can access compass in MUSC atrium to access information and purchase event and transportation tickets for McMaster and Hamilton. •• There are less than 1000 concert tickets left for Homecoming taking place September 30th – October 1st. Tickets can be purchased at Compass. For Compass hours, visit www.msumcmaster.ca/compass/hours. •• First Year Council nomination forms are available for pickup in the MSU office (MUSC 201). Nomination period runs until September 19th at 3PM. •• The Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) will be making a campus visit on September 20th. Look out for the table in MUSC for free swag and information on provincial advocacy!
BYLAWS AND PROCEDURES COMMISSIONER ELECTION Congratulations to David Lee, SRA Health Sciences Representative, who has been elected as the new Bylaws and Procedures Commissioner.
CHANGES TO BYLAW 3/A- ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES The SRA voted to approve changes to Bylaw 3/A - Assembly Procedures to have open ballots for the Vice Presidenial, Speaker, and Commissioner Elections. For more information on the Bylaw visit www.msumcmaster.ca/bylaws.

CLUBS RATIFICATION Twelve (12) MSU clubs were ratified by the Assembly. For a full list of ratified clubs visit www.msumcmaster.ca/clubs-directory.
OPENED ONE MSU SEAT ON EXTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE One seat is currently open to MSU members to become a voting member of the External Affairs Committee. This committee advocates for students on a municipal, provincial and federal level. For more information, visit www.msumcmaster.ca/externalaffairs.
