Financial Assistance

More than 335 athletes received financial assistance through scholarships, travel support, and discounts for this fiscal year, totaling over $335,000.

SSCV is very proud of our scholarship program. In 21-22, SSCV made changes to our scholarship procedure by considering the average additional expenses facing our families for participation in the sport (equipment, passes, travel, camps, etc) beyond the Club program fees. In doing so, we believe we are more accurately capturing our families financial needs and better able to support them with aid dollars. We also have increased our maximum scholarship award from 75% of program fees to 100% of program fees. These were pivotal changes and we are very encouraged by the initial results. We are helping more families and have grown the available pool of aid funds. We hope to build on this in the future and increase the number of families that we are able to support.
