A border line of color should not be visible. Student has also blended at least 3 pencil colors for each letter side. 3 • Shading light to dark (10 points) Student has blended their colors using a light to dark technique, translating their color mixing into a gradient value scale. 4 • Creativity (5 points) Student has added some personal flair into the design and/or coloring of the letters. 5 • Workmanship (15 points) Student has displayed high attention to detail in their name project from the drawing, to the tracing with pen, to the coloring and lastly, to the cutting.
