UPPER LAWN The Honey Badgers 10am-1pm

The Feel of Fall It’s more than a feeling! Texture adds visual and tactile interest to any garden. View an assortment of textured plants for ideas and make a leaf rubbing to take home.

Trees: Nature’s Champions Learn about the importance of our native trees and the wildlife that utilize them. Explore the various types of bark, wood, leaves, and fruit to see and feel what makes each species unique.

FORECOURT Fall Garden Walks 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:30pm Each walk is free with admission and lasts about one hour. Capacity is limited, so please sign up ahead of time at the plant sales tent.

Lawn Games Enjoy lawn games with the whole family! Bluey’s Woods Venture into the woods and get your hands dirty with nature play activities.

Kids Tree Climbing 11am-1pm, 2-4pm Pull on a harness and get ready to climb! Scale a tree with the help of our arborists and get a birds-eye view of Mt. Cuba. 3

SOUTH GARDEN Story Time Sprouts 11am, 3pm Relax on our South Lawn while you listen to a selection of nature-themed books about fall.

Nature Collage Calling all artists! Show your artistic side as you create a nature inspired collage using natural materials. 6

Hayrides 11am, 1pm, 2:30pm Celebrate the season with a scenic hayride through our natural areas. Free with admission, reserve your time at the plant sales tent as space is limited.

Fall Scavenger Hunt Pick up a scavenger hunt at the start of the Woods Path and use it to explore the gardens. 7

FORECOURT Plant Sales A variety of native plants will be available for purchase, while supplies last! Build Your Own Container For the discounted price of $24, you’ll receive everything you need to create a beautiful fall container in time for the coming season!

Guided Hikes 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 3:30pm Each hike is free with admission and lasts about an hour and 15 minutes. Be prepared to walk steep hills and some uneven terrain. Sign up at the plant sales tent.

HELPFUL INFORMATION Gardens close at 6pm today. Upon entering the premises visitors grant Mt. Cuba Center permission to photograph them for promotional purposes.
