LETTER FROM THE LEADERSHIP

As we prepare to enter into 2022, I want to reach out to our members and thank each of you for making the Greene County Partnership a continued success. Our successes have not come without trials. Over the past 2 years it’s been a testing time for everyone. Particularly those who have lost loved ones, friends, or have struggled with the health impacts of COVID-19.

During my tenure as Chair, I had the pleasure of hiring Jeff Taylor as the Partnership President & CEO. Jeff’s first day on the job happened to be the same day Governor Lee made an Executive Order to temporarily suspend all in person services. Jeff and his team saw this challenge as an opportunity to serve and represent our community in an unprecedented time and helped drive the economic recovery that is so crucial to our future. Just a few of their accomplishments for 2021 include 44 new chamber members, PILOT applications approved for creation of 377 jobs, 2 new companies, and Selection to the State of TN Property Evaluation Program (1 of 4 counties selected). I personally want to thank the Partnership staff for their hard work and perseverance.

During these uncertain times, our community pulled together and rallied around those that needed it most. I want to thank everyone that has helped me during my tenure as Chair. Greeneville/Greene County has so many talented citizens that are more than willing to assist when called upon. I am proud to be a part of this wonderful community and to have served as the Chair of the Greene County Partnership. I look forward to the future.

Best Regards, Jennifer Keller
