2020 BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS PARADE OF HOMES 2020 BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS PARADE OF HOMES 221 Cohutta Ranch Summit BLUE RIDGE, GA Coleman Custom Log Homes

DESCRIPTION

When one finds themselves in the Blue Ridge Mountains they find that the Coleman Log Home name is synonymous with large and extravagant homes made from full-size Western red cedar logs that command attention. Being that this particular Cohutta Ranch lot was perched way up high where the eagles soar, the complexity of building such a home at those elevations posed many uncalculated risks and safety concerns. Especially when dealing with oversized logs. With safety always the highest of priority, the Coleman crew decided to go back to their roots and take on a modern, timber frame home with contemporary lines and single pitch roofs. Once completed, natural elements of stone, rough sawn wood, and cedar shakes will adorn the exterior of this 4,000 square foot modern, yet rustic home. The interior will feature some of the same elements with a 4 bedroom and 4 bath spread, with two full size masters, and a bunk room. The main living area will have a double wall of windows, a two sided fireplace, Butler’s pantry and wet bar. Cohutta Ranch is all about nature and privacy. It appeals to those seeking a more secluded and laid back lifestyle. This custom Coleman home sits all the way at the top of a mountain with the Benton-MacKaye trail system right in your back yard. There’s so much to love about being off the beaten path, especially if the path leads to an “eagle’s eye view” and another Coleman custom home.
