AMIR KHOSROWSHAHI Clients of Manzel Contemporary Homes benefit from Amir Ali Khosrowshahi’s depth of expertise in all phases of construction and his first-hand understanding of what luxury home buyers want. Amir is the president of Protégé Homes, an acknowledged leader in the construction of luxury homes throughout Houston. He contributes 25 years of experience in the home-building industry and has built quality single family homes and townhomes in Houston since 1991. Amir holds a reputation for impeccable service and careful oversight of every detail of the building process from start to finish. He believes in creating lasting relationships and attributes his success to loyal clients who send him referral business from their family and friends. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in economics, Amir began his career on Wall Street as a financial consultant for a major investment house. He changed his course to construction in 1989 and soon relocated to Houston, where he founded his Protégé Homes, INC. in 2004. “I love building homes,” Amir says. “I truly enjoy waking up in the morning and going to work, no matter the task at hand.”

FRED SHARIFI Fred Sharifi has been a successful real estate investor and developer in Houston since 1985. In the course of his career, Fred has developed numerous retail/commercial properties and handled extensive residential property renovations. Preservation Houston recognized his expertise and sensitivity to neighborhood environments with a Good Brick Award in 2012. Fred has been a business owner in the Rice Village and Memorial area since 1975 and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He enjoys the creative aspect of developing a project and gathers inspiration from his world travels.

VAHID SHARIATZADEH Vahid Shariatzadeh received his CPA in 1981 followed by a CFP in 1986. For more than 33 years, Vahid has been business and tax advisor to four custom homebuilders and a number of successful, high-net-worth Houston-area business owners. He holds several financial security licenses. Personally, Vahid has built four commercial buildings and has built, owned, and managed several retail centers and an apartment complex in Houston. He owns and operates two medical professional buildings as well as a franchised restaurant.

HENRY VADIE Henry Vadie holds valuable experience gained from 25 years in business development, corporate planning and project management, as well as seven years of managing commercial and residential construction projects and properties. Henry earned a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and has spent many years as a senior corporate executive in the energy sector. A resident of Houston since 1979 and the Museum District since 2003, Henry focuses his considerable skill set to benefit Manzel Contemporary Homes and its clients.
