For 23 years, as the wife of a project director in the construction, oil and gas industries, Christine nearly had a regular job selling and purchasing her family’s personal homes. “All of that relocation gave me a comprehensive perspective on all the various parts of a move,” she says. “I really have the logistics down. As a Realtor, I use my knowledge to help prepare relocation clients for what is coming in addition to helping them sell or purchase. My concern for clients is genuine; I’ve been there so many times. I am with my clients every step of the way, from when they first consider a home sale or purchase to when they put that last box by the curb.” Prior to her career in residential real estate, Christine was a legal assistant for several law firms and worked in the corporate licensing department of Houston-based Brown and Root Engineering and Construction Company (now KBR Engineering and Construction Group). She credits her legal background and detailed knowledge of corporate contracts with training her to be extremely organized and focused on the fine points as well as the big picture in each transaction. Christine is also an excellent negotiator. Christine was born and raised in Pasadena, California where she meet the love of her life Jackson Routt. She moved to Texas, married Jackson and together they raised her three children Summer, Holly and Elizabeth, residing in his childhood home in Memorial Forest. The girls attended Frostwood Elementary, Memorial Middle and Memorial High schools. His three children Victoria, Jackson, III and Elizabeth were frequently at the home too as they were and still are dear to our hearts. Working for her community is important for Christine. She serves on the Tealwood Homeowner’s Association Board as well as The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Livestock Committee, and contributes to the Houston Westchase Rotary Club. Christine’s leisure time is spent with her husband, family and friends walking, golfing, horseback riding, swimming, reading and fishing.
