Ordering Procedures & Policies Ordering

Orders may be submitted via authorized dealers. Please see your dealer representative for proper order forms and additional information.

Proofs

A color PDF proof will be emailed to email address specified during ordering process for each product ordered within 1 - 3 business days of order placement. Order placement occurs once the dealer submits the order to Muffy Writes A Note. Proof must be approved according to the instructions in the Proof Email prior to production. No product will be produced until approval is received in writing. Customers are encouraged to review proofs promptly and carefully to avoid delays in production and to ensure accuracy. Any errors not corrected will be the responsibility of the customer, and full payment for the product will be due. The first proof is free. Additional proofs may be requested for $5.00 each. Proofs may also be waived at the request of the customer, however, any errors or other elements that do not meet the approval of the customer in the end product will be the responsibility of the customer. A proof is recommended to ensure accuracy of text and other selections and instructions.

Changes & Cancellations

Customers are given the opportunity to make changes during the Proof Process as described above. Once a proof has been approved and the order has been placed into production, the a fee may be charged for further changes or cancellation. If the order has already been printed, the customer will be billed the full amount of the order. Additionally, changes made after the order has been placed into production will increase the processing time.

Typesetting

Typesetting is done by a professional graphic designer. If customer would like specific text to be a different color, larger or smaller than other text, please specify during ordering process. Please be aware that some type faces/fonts are wider or taller than others. Selecting a wider or taller font may effect the number of characters per line or the number of lines that will fit on the page. Our designers will make every effort to create a layout that is both legible and pleasing. Adjustments can be made during the proofing process.

Photo Submission

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to obtain any rights or permissions as required by copyright law for use of photographs and/or any other artwork submitted to Muffy Writes A Note for reproduction on our products. Muffy Writes A Note assumes no responsibility for obtaining any such rights or permissions. For best results, photos should be at least as large as the stated photo opening dimensions and at a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Formats accepted include .tiff, .jpeg, .eps, .pdf and .psd. PLEASE NOTE: Some photos may not fit the exact dimensions of the photo areas in some of our products. Please consider size and orientation of photo opening carefully when selecting photo and/or product. Photos will be placed by a professional graphic designer and may require cropping for best presentation. Customer will be able to review in proof. Additionally, photos may be changed to black and white by request at no additional charge. Other photo retouching services may be available. Please have your dealer contact Muffy Writes A Note for additional information and a custom quote.

Errors

Shipping

If an error is made by Muffy Writes A Note, we will reprint and reship your order via the same method selected in the original order. If the dealer or customer makes an error, or fails to correct an error in the proof, the order will be reprinted at the original price and shipped as specified at the expense of the dealer or customer.

Orders can be shipped via Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day and Next Day Delivery for destinations within the continental United States. Orders must be shipped to a street address - not a post office box. Please note shipping time is in addition to processing and production time. For international orders, please contact Muffy Writes A Note.

Reprints

Custom Artwork, Colors, etc.

Reprints require the same processing and production time and efforts as original orders and therefore are billed at the same rates listed for a first time order.

Processing Time

Our standard processing time is 7 - 10 business days from the time we receive approval of proof. Orders placed during the Holiday Season - November 1 through December 25 - may require more time due to increased holiday volume.

Rush Orders

Rush Production service can be requested for an additional charge of $25.00 per item. Rush Production will reduce production time to two business days. Rush Production does not include proof approval time, shipping time or other processing time.

If the selections in this catalog do not meet your needs, Muffy Writes A Note can do customizations ranging from custom color changes to custom artwork. All custom work will incur additional fees.
