DO YOU KNOW A YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR? As our commitment to Black businesses, Rho Mu Omega will feature selected DC youth-owned businesses for the entire month of May. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Rho Mu Omega Chapter 2021 Youth Art Competition A Salute to the Harlem Renaissance: Celebrating Its Contributions and Significance Through Music

Theme: Artwork should celebrate the music of the Harlem Renaissance period that fostered a new black cultural identity in the 1920s and 1930s.

Eligibility: The competition is open to high school students (Grades 9-12) in public, private, charter or alternative schools in the District of Columbia. Must be a DC Resident.

Entry Fee and Deadlines: FREE to all eligible participants. Entry period: August 30, 2021- October 30, 2021. Submit Entry at www.rhomuomega.org Sunday, September 19, 2021 to Saturday, October 23, 2021

2021 SOLES4SOULS H.B.C.U. VIRTUAL SHOE COLLECTION

Join us for a virtual shoe collection drive! Collect your new or gently worn shoes for SOLES4SOULS. Collection will take place September 19- October 23, 2021.

While we cannot get together in person or leave our homes to ship shoes, we're inviting you to join us in a virtual collection. It's easy to participate: Clean your closets, gather your new or gently worn shoes, snap a few photos or shoot a quick video and report your total to receive a complimentary mailing label.
