ONCE A MULGRAVIAN, ALWAYS A MULGRAVIAN

The Class of 2020 officially became graduates at the end of May 2020. May the bonds of friendship forged at Mulgrave last a lifetime! Students received a record-breaking number of scholarship offers totalling $2.4 million across a large swath of disciplines ranging from athletics to STEM.

GO TITANS GO!

Our student athletes went the distance this year, with 11 qualifying for the Cross Country Provincials and 15 qualifying for the Swimming Provincials. In a series of school firsts, the Upper School Cross Country Team became North Shore ‘AA’ Champions, Varsity Boys’ Basketball placed 7th at ‘AA’ Provincials, and Grade 8 Girls Basketball were ISAA and North Shore Champions, while also placing 4th at Grade 8 Girls Provincials.

MATH WHIZZES

In February, our Grade 6, 7, and 8 students took part in the Canadian National Math League contest. Our Grade 6s finished 5th in the province, while our Grade 7s were the top school in BC. Our Grade 8s were 1st in the province and 2nd throughout all of Canada.

DIPLOMATS IN THE MAKING

Ten of our students participated in the prestigious National High School Model United Nations conference. Issues discussed included the prevention of violent extremism caused by religious intolerance, reintegration of children in post-conflict societies, and maternal health in developing states.

ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE

This was a year of compelling stage productions, with the Senior School’s Blue Stockings in November, and the Middle School’s performance of Unity (1918) in late February.

THAT’S A WRAP!
