You’ve got this brilliant idea in mind. You’ve been daydreaming about it. It may be the next BIG thing. How does one turn these ideas and intentions into an actual business?
When I first started working from home, I was told that we all just need a plan and go from there. But to be honest, that is like taking a leap into the unknown with a blindfold on.
Back to you. Now that you’ve chosen to take the leap, deciding your first step is often the trickiest part. You can see yourself happy and successful in this new business idea, but the space between that and your current situation looks a bit blank at the moment. So, where exactly does one begin? Great question. See, you’re already thinking like an entrepreneur!
Starting your own business may be a rewarding and challenging career option. Are you ready? Here’s a simple checklist to get you started.
I like this quote from Loyal “Jack” Lewman, “Never stop learning, for when we stop learning, we stop growing.” In my life, I’ve learned everything that I know now the hard way. Life shouldn’t be difficult, but it is since we don’t have a manual on how we should live our lives. Not everything is taught in school. Businesses shouldn’t have to suffer the same way. Since we live in a digital age, we can create a manual, a workflow, a calendar, basically, we have something that we can organise and control.
Don’t let excuses and fear—fear of the unknown, fear of taking risks, fear of failure—stop you from even trying. The world is your oyster so move out there and grab it. Good Luck!
