She started the PMB/Midlands region for The Sunflower Fund in January 2014 and is responsible for raising funds and awareness in the area. The Sunflower Fund is a nonprofit organisation with a vision to give all South Africans diagnosed with leukaemia and other life-threatening blood disorders the chance of life, by building the South African Bone Marrow registry. Kenwyn said her work is very rewarding. “It is great to know that at the end of the day you are making a difference. It’s hugely different to working for a corporate where it really is only about the bottom line.” Kenwyn, through personal experience, has deep sympathy for families who experience the difficulties and trauma of disease, especially when the hope for survival is limited. Kenwyn is also a lifetime member of the Highveld Horse Care Unit and has a special place in her heart for both children and animals.

They also look after those in grief by being a friend and a shoulder to cry on and have the responsibility of caring for the dead in a dignified manner. Love Long Length is the product of many years of a mother-daughter duo’s struggle with trying to find clothing suited for tall women. Brenda is 5ft 11 (180cm) and Kristi is 6ft 1 (186cm). Kristi was 6 feet tall by the age of 15 and her choice of clothing was limited to say the least. Together, they have launched a collection of clothing to meet the needs of tall women in South Africa.
