Young India Entrepreneurship Programme (YIEP)
In the current economic climate, entrepreneurship is seen as one of the key drivers of economic growth and job creation. A frequent rationale for entrepreneurial education is that our increasingly globalized, uncertain and complex world requires that young students be increasingly equipped with entrepreneurial competencies. Due to the importance of entrepreneurship in addressing important social challenges, entrepreneurial education is becoming an increasingly important tool for organizations and individuals seeking to contribute to the social good. A strong focus on economic development and job creation has indeed led entrepreneurial education to take center stage.

Why YIEP ?
With the 3-day entrepreneurship program, Muniversiti tries to instill an entrepreneurial spirit in participants by providing them with an opportunity to discover the basics of an entrepreneurial journey through a comprehensive and deeply researched programme module.
As part of the program, you will learn why it is important to think outside the box and to come up with solutions to everyday problems. Further, by doing this, participants gain an understanding of the tools necessary to make things happen. The comprehensive module can assist anyone who is interested in starting something of their own with all the prerequisites needed, legally or otherwise.
In the pitch deck round following the course, participants have the opportunity to use the module taught to them to design their own startup with a team from scratch to maturity. This will help them understand the importance of teamwork and coordination. As a result of their participation, attendees will be able to establish the intrinsic qualities necessary to successfully launch their startup plans.
Our three pillars of teaching.
Through this program we train students by three main approaches
Teaching “about” entrepreneurship: a theoretical and contentrich approach meant to provide a general understanding of the subject at hand.
Teaching “for” entrepreneurship: a profession-oriented approach that aims to provide budding entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge.
Teaching “through”: a process based and often experiential approach where students go through an actual entrepreneurial learning process . This approach often leans on the wider definition of entrepreneurship, and can be integrated into other subjects in general education, connecting entrepreneurial characteristics, processes and experiences to the core subject.
We believe in the ‘Learning by doing’ approach of imparting knowledge. In learning-by-doing the participants takes action together with other people. This interaction is based on shared tools, rules, processes, knowledge, signs, ideas etc. In essence,

learning-by-doing can be regarded as an emotional and motivation laden process, where motivational levels depend on

what learning occurs,
what value is created.
