Muotaz Abbas

Muotaz is a Saudi Speculative architect and artist based in Los Angeles, USA where he got his bachelor degree of architecture from Woodbury University and his master’s degree in Architectural Technologies from Sci Arc. He uses algorithm and procedural method through eccentric utilization of Computation & real-time visualization to construct his complex and organic forms. He mixes hypertrophy of different physical and logical processes to create a process of merging perceptions with basic algorithms. His mission is to challenges himself to transform all those algorithm and math from only visual effects to 3D printed furniture pieces and architecture elements. The next step is experimenting with latest technologies in digital fabrication and assembly. His area of researches are; -Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Fabrication, 3D Printing. -Digital Culture, Technology, and Contemporary Aesthetics. - Speculations through Design and Interactive Media. -Architectural Design.
