Pumpkin Pumpkin House House aa West West Virginia Virginia staple staple Each year, 3,000 carved and lit pumpkins welcome visitors from all over to Kenova’s Griffith Pumpkin House during the month of October. The Pumpkin House began in 1978 with only five pumpkins and has since developed into an attraction that brings over 30,000 attendees each year with the help of volunteers and organizations.
