murmure d'iguane

My mother is Australian and my father French-Colombian.My painting is inspired by those two cultures. From the age of 6 to 8 I lived in Canberra, Australia and from 9 to 11 in Anchorage Alaska. My painting came to life in an unexpected way. One evening in 2009, like a sleepwalker I grabed a painting I had at home and painted over it. Since then I have produced 160 paintings in two years (2009-2011). This "trance painting" loomed up after a serious illness and has become vital to me. I have become what I am.
