7 September Matt Hollywood And The Bad Feelings @ The Peer Hat Matt Hollywood is better known as one of the founding members of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and responsible for some of the band’s finer tunes. His latest work with The Bad Feelings recalls the 60s once again, this time drawing from influences such as Lee Hazlewood and Serge Gainsbourg. £11, 7.30pm - late
8 September Kiran Leonard/Cult Party/ The Birthmarks @ Partisan Kiran Leonard, a ‘mercurially talented’ musician from Saddleworth, plays his first full-band gig in 2 years. Get a taste of his new album ‘Western Culture’ and listen to his lilting voice and sweeping melodies, inspired by artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Deerhoof and the Residents. 15 September Paddy Steer @ The Peer Hat Tilted Fiction presents an experimental electronic bonanza featuring Paddy Steer, Experimental Sonic Machines, Flavolous, Acid Marko + VIDE0. £4/6, 5 - 11pm
16 September Escape-Ism @ The Peer Hat Underground Rock’s darling Ian Svenonius brings you a one-person show of lo-fi electronics, loop pedals, and body snatchers. His newest solo record - The Lost Record - comes gallivanting with a big ego, mythical nostalgia and the potential to become a forgotten-then-rediscovered classic. £11, 7 - 10pm
19 September Dylan Carlson @ Soup Kitchen Carlson gained fame as front-man of long-running drone doom band Earth. Catch him at Soup Kitchen for a live performance of his first solo album Conquistador, an album he himself describes as an “imaginary Western”, just scored by distortionheavy, primarily solo electric guitar. £11, 7 - 10pm
27 September Liza Anne w/ Rosey PM @ The Castle Hotel Georgia-based Liza Anne talks mental illness, romance & distorted reality in her latest offering: Fine but Dying. Contrasted effectively by MCR’s dreamy Rosey PM. £10, 7 - 11pm

28 September Free Vibes: Gymnast / Vide0 / RYD / Legs on Wheels @ Band on the Wall Band on the Wall presents a special edition of Free Vibes, feat. four new, exciting artists you need to know. South African artist William Kentridge combines drawing, tapestry, music, film projection and sculpture, drawing on sources as broad as China’s Cultural Revolution and scientific theories of time and space.
